"TGIF," also known by the lyrics It's 7PM Friday, It's 95 Degrees, is an unreleased song by rapper Glorilla. The song is a remix of Koto's song "so silly!" and was first teased on TikTok in mid-May 2024. The song preview went viral on TikTok that month, inspiring lip dub videos and a dance trend.

Origin

In 2022, Koto and YungManny released the song "So Silly!" with one May 7th, 2022, upload by YouTuber^[1] BangersOnly garnering over 1.4 million views in two years (shown below).

On May 18th, 2024, Koto duetted a now-deleted TikTok^[2] video by rapper Glorilla (@glorilla03) in which she and a group of people dance to a song in which she remixes the beat of "So Silly!" rapping over the beat, "It's 7 pm Friday, it's 95 degrees." The video gained over 118,000 views in 10 days (shown below).

The song preview went viral over the following weeks, most notably inspiring a dance trend that was created by TikTokers @famedame_ and @d3heree.

On May 19th, 2024, TikToker^[3] @famedame_ posted the earliest video doing the dance, garnering over 662,000 views in a week (shown below, left). On May 20th, TikToker^[4] @d3heree posted a video doing the dance that gained over 219,000 views in eight days (shown below, right).
