"The Laws of Time Are Mine" is a memorable quote uttered by the Doctor on the television series Doctor Who. Online, people use a screenshot of the Doctor delivering the quote to make jokes about such time-related events as Daylight Savings.
Origin
On November 15th, 2009, the Doctor Who television special "The Waters of Mars" aired.[1] In the episode, the Doctor says, "The laws of time are mine, and they will obey me." Three days later, YouTuber TimelordIncarnate posted the clip on YouTube, and in 10 years, the post received more than 10,000 views (shown below).

Several years later, on September 24th, 2015, Gifer[2] user Anakus posted a GIF of the moment (shown below, left).
Two years later, on March 19th, 2017, Instagram [3] user eleventhhourarchive posted a two-panel image of the moment. The post received more than 2,200 likes in two years (shown below, center).
The following year, on December 6th, 2018, Redditor [4] DartstoInfinity posted an image macro of the moment with the caption "When you sleep for 4 hours but it feels like 8." The post received more than 435 points (100% upvoted) within three months (shown below, right).
On December 17th, 2018, Redditor[5] ericb250 posted a variation in the /r/dankmemes subreddit. The post received more than 35,000 points (96% upvoted) and 375 comments in less than three months (shown below).
