There Is No Hoes Here, You're Going To Die refers to a series of exploitable image macros that show Steve from Blue's Clues in a dangerous location under the phrasal template "There is no hoes here, it's X you're going to die," X being the location. The meme became popularized throughout 2021 on sites including Instagram and Reddit and is often used in memes related to schizoposting.

Origin

On February 19th, 2021, Instagram^[1] user the.shitpost.archive posted an image macro that shows Steve from Blue's Clues standing at the eastern front, captioned, "Nigga there is no hoes here it's the eastern front you're going to die," garnering over 1,400 likes in two years (shown below). The meme is watermarked with the name "schizo.wingism.v2" although no account with that name appears to be active at the time of writing.

Spread

The meme became increasingly popular over the following months as users edited the context. On July 2nd, 2021, Instagram^[2] user owen_kung reposted the original meme, garnering over 89,000 likes in two years. On August 10th, Redditor SelectionNo4353 posted a Binding of Isaac version of the meme to /r/bindingofisaac,^[3] garnering over 3,200 upvotes in two years (shown below, left). On September 11th, Redditor CookiedoughFlow posted a version of the meme to /r/okbuddyretard,^[4] garnering over 13,000 upvotes in two years (shown below, right).

On November 10th, Redditor CaesarWalinguini posted a version of the meme to /r/okbuddyretard^[5] that gained over 10,500 upvotes in two years (shown below). On March 7th, 2022, Twitter^[6] user @rancidorxata posted a version of the meme about Caelid that garnered over 20,000 likes in a year.

On February 14th, 2023, Redditor zierwarp posted a version of the meme referencing Team Fortress 2 to /r/tf2,^[7] garnering over 5,000 upvotes in a month (shown below).
