Visiting My Kid's House For The First Time or #JustVisiting refers to a series of TikTok videos featuring parents who act out visiting their children's house for the first time and creating a mess. The videos, which first became popular in early August 2020, are typically set to the song Interior Crocodile Alligator and feature parents messing up a house like a stereotypical teenager would.

Origin

On July 31st, 2020, TikToker malonycooper uploaded the first #JustVisiting video featuring a mother entering a house and proceeding to turn on all the lights, leave the faucet running and make a mess (shown below). The video featuring "S.L.A.B. Freestyle" by rapper Chip that Ripper gained over 160,600 likes in two weeks.

On August 3rd, 2020, TikToker howurmommanem uploaded a popular variation of the first video and accumulated over 236,300 likes in 11 days (shown below, left). On August 5th, TikToker cor087 uploaded an example that received over 23,700 likes in nine days (shown below, center). On August 8th, TikToker alec0722 uploaded the most popular example which acquired over 381,100 likes in six days (shown below, right). That week, the hashtag #JustVisiting was featured on TikTok's Discover page. StayHipp[1] published an article on the trend.
