Wait Its Fucking Tueaday. God. refers to a photoshopped image of a dog in sunglasses and a hat standing on the sidewalk with the text "wait its fucking Tueaday." above it and "god." below it, as if begrudgingly realizing what day it is. The image was first posted to Tumblr in 2015 and inspired a number of memes where a variation of the same text is used over images of other animals, replacing the misspelled date "Tueaday" with another intentionally misspelled date like "weaday" or "thuday."

Origin

On August 25th, 2015, Tumblr^[1] user itwashotwestayedinthewater posted a photoshopped image of a dog wearing a green hat and sunglasses and standing on a faded-looking sidewalk with the text "wait its fucking Tueaday. god" above and below it, as if the dog just realized it's Tuesday and is surprised about it (shown below). The post gained over 41,000 notes in six years.

On June 28th, 2019, Tumblr^[2] user gamecubist made a "master post" sharing seven memes following the format, one representing each day of the week, gaining over 312,000 notes in two years (shown below).

On December 9th, Facebook^[3] page dogecore shared an image of an overweight dog following the format, gaining over 1,700 reactions and 700 shares in roughly two years (shown below).
