We All Want a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, continued But Which One Could Turn You Into Squirtle and also known as We Don't Want a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, are lyrics from a song sung by TikToker Ginger Yoddha (@gingeryoddha) in a viral TikTok video posted in June 2023. The video's TikTok sound became the subject of memes in July 2023. Many of the video memes showed people dancing to the song or freestyle rapping the song, ultimately attesting that it was a great song.
Origin
On June 15th, 2023, TikToker[1] @gingeryoddha posted a video that showed himself singing an original song that led with the lyrics, "We don't want a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, but which one could turn you into Squirtle." Over the course of one month, the video gained roughly 6 million plays and 858,700 likes (shown below).

The first-known, viral usage of the video was a duet posted by TikToker[2] @luke_bradss on June 19th, 2023, in which he played the guitar along with @gingeryoddha's singing, likening the sound to the Arctic Monkeys. In one month, the duet gained roughly 177,200 plays and 18,400 likes (shown below).

Going into late June 2023, TikTokers continued to use the original video's sound.[3] For instance, on June 20th, 2023, TikToker[4] @eastangliacore continued the Artic Monkeys comparison by following the X If They Were a Good Band format, earning roughly 679,600 plays and 107,800 likes in one month (shown below, left). On June 29th, TikToker[5] @h.12rh related @gingeryoddha's video to "the autistic quiet kid starts spitting bars," gaining roughly 462,200 plays and 83,300 likes in one month (shown below, right).

The meme achieved increased virality and usage in July 2023, following the upload of several video memes with over a million plays each. For instance, on July 25th, 2023, TikToker[6] @dreamthebull posted a video with Blueface and NLE Choppa dancing, gaining roughly 1.9 million plays and 380,200 likes in three days (shown below).
