"We Did It, Joe" is a memorable quote uttered by the United States Vice President Kamala Harris to U.S. President Joe Biden in a viral video of the two on the phone following their reported victory in the 2020 U.S. Presidential election. Audio from the video inspired a series of lip-sync dubs and parodies on TikTok and Twitter in November 2020.

Origin

On November 7th, 2020, Vice President Kamala Harris tweeted a video of herself speaking with President Biden on the phone and saying, "We did it, Joe." The post received more than 44 million views, 3.3 million likes and 765,000 retweets in less than one week (shown below).

Spread

On November 9th, 2020, TikTok user @tjplayyhouse posted a parody of the call. The post received more than 5.5 million views, 1 million reactions and 18,000 comments in less than one week (shown below, left).

Some on TikTok used the sound to create videos of their own, parodying the call in various videos and duets.
