On March 2nd, 2025, TikToker^[1] @marla777666 posted a slideshow consisting of two slides. The first slide is a coloring chart asking users to add specific colors to the silhouette of a person to represent the emotions they feel the most. The second slide is an art piece showing a person covered in green, which represents anxiety, holding the other colors inside as they try to burst free. The post gained over 2 million views in a week.

Spread

The trend garnered viral spread that month, inspiring numerous viral examples. On March 5th, 2025, TikToker^[2] @silkenkite posted a version of the trend that gained over 9.5 million views in a week.

On March 6th, TikToker^[3] @mia_draws posted a version of the trend in which the piece of artwork looks to portray why the user's emotions are the way that they are, garnering over 5.5 million views in six days.

The trend began to spread on X that month. On March 8th, X^[4] user @howlsnteeth posted a version of the trend portraying a wolf looking into the mirror captioned, "the things you make me feel," garnering over 8,500 likes in four days.

On March 9th, TikToker^[5] @jazzychazzii posted a meme version of the trend in which the piece of art represents someone with severe bak pain, garnering over 13 million views in three days.
