Where the Bros At (Turbulence) refers to a series of viral videos of the A Whole Bunch of Turbulence guy (TikToker @officialjustjo) singing the drill rap song "Sdot Go – WNA" by SwepersENT and seemingly using his penis slapping back and forth between his legs as part of the song's beat. JUSTJOO started performing the song for people, mostly women, on TikTok Live in mid-2023, leading to many memes, reposts and fan edits.

Origin

Starting in March 2023, a minor dance trend started on TikTok^[1] using the drill rap song "Sdot Go – WNA" by SwepersENT,^[2] which has the hook, "Like where the bros at? I'm tryna bend like- Who tryna go meet they friend." Potentially inspired by this, TikToker JUSTJOO (known as the Turbulence Guy) started to sing the song on his TikTok Lives, seemingly using his penis to recreate the song's beat by slapping it between his legs without using his hands. Currently, the first-known video that showed TikToker JUSTJOO singing the song was posted by TikToker^[3] @h1m.13 on April 27th, 2023, gaining roughly 644,500 plays and 25,100 likes in three months (shown below).

Soon after the aforementioned video's upload, others started to make edits and memes with the clip. For instance, on April 28th, 2023, TikToker^[4] @zyearthugginitout posted a fan edit, gaining roughly 1.9 million plays and 137,500 plays in three months (shown below, left). Going into May 2023, others on the app started to recreate JUSTJOO's "Where the Bros At" video. For instance, on May 12th, TikToker^[5] @jaytakeoverz posted a recreation, gaining roughly 109,500 plays and 5,400 likes in two months (shown below, right).

Going into June 2023, JUSTJOO started to perform his "Where the Bros At" dance for women on TikTok Live. For instance, one of the first examples uploaded to the platform was posted by TikToker^[6] @batt.63 on June 2nd, 2023, gaining roughly 818,900 plays and 52,000 likes in one month (shown below, left). Similar screen recordings of the Lives went more viral later in the month, such as one video posted by TikToker^[7] @snxperplug1 on June 26th, which gained roughly 6.9 million plays and 1.1 million likes in one week (shown below, right).
