World Cup, Everybody Jump refers to the 2026 FIFA World Cup anthem "WORLD CUP" by TikToker and musician Tayo Ricci, which features the lyrics, "World Cup, everybody jump." Ricci released the song on June 5th, 2026, and promoted it on his Instagram and TikTok pages.

The song went viral and became the subject of memes and reactions in the following days. Many of the reactions to the song were critical, with some calling it the "worst World Cup song ever," inspiring jokes in which people refused to fulfill Ricci's request that "everybody jump." It also inspired Accuracy Reenactments, where users attempted to recreate the video of Ricci jumping to the song.

Origin

On June 5th, 2026, musical artist Tayo Ricci posted a video to his TikTok^[1] page (tayoricci) advertising the release of his 2026 FIFA World Cup song, titled "WORLD CUP," garnering over 4.8 million views in five days. In the video, Ricci lip syncs to the song while jumping and dancing on a soccer field. The song was released on Spotify^[2] that day.

On June 6th, Ricci then posted the full music video for the song on YouTube,^[3] gaining over 58,000 views, 1,490 comments, 1,100 likes and 7,200 dislikes (using the Return YouTube Dislike browser extension, which is an estimate) in four days. Many of the comments notably mocked the song for being perceived as bad.

"WORLD CUP" went viral in early June 2026 and inspired memes and reactions as it spread. Many of the reactions were critical of the song, with many calling it the "worst World Cup song" and issuing apologies to other artists who made World Cup songs, such as Jelly Roll.

On June 8th, 2026, Instagram^[4] user onlyshitpostsig posted the video with the added caption, "FIFA ain't putting this as its world cup song," garnering over 20,000 likes in two days.

On June 9th, TikToker^[5] @jackauskas.g2 posted the video with the caption, "I think we owe KSI an apology," gaining over 207,000 views in a day.

Later that day, TikToker^[6] @beav_matt posted an Accuracy Reenactment video based on the video of Ricci dancing to his song, garnering over 500,000 views in a day.

Also on June 9th, 2026, TikToker^[7] @jemboedgorengdadakan posted a video comparing "WORLD CUP" to the song "Gut Genug," which went viral at the same time, garnering over 678,000 views in a day.
