The video was uploaded in mid-April 2026 and became the subject of memes later that month through early May, including a phonk remix of the audio and animations based on the video.

Origin

On April 18th, 2026, Roblox TikToker^[1] @electracy_ posted a video explaining what is required to get past a variety of different walls when building a game in Roblox. At the start of the video, the TikToker says, "If a Roblox wall is one stud thick, you can simply just walk around it." The video gained over 7.2 million views in a month.

On April 20th, TikToker^[2] @roo49582 posted an edit of the video where, as she changes the wall thicknesses, the clip of her saying, "You can simply just walk around it," plays, garnering over 468,000 views in two weeks. This is one of the earliest notable memes based on the video.

On April 30th, 2026, TikToker^[3] @skubertgaming18 posted a recreation of the video made in a purposefully low-resolution and low-quality style, garnering over 914,000 views in four days.

That day, TkToker^[4] @endi_2026 posted a phonk remix of the original video's audio, garnering over 857,000 views in four days.

On May 2nd, 2026, TikToker^[5] @nightlightedz posted a video edit based on the phonk remix by @endi_2026, garnering over 1.3 million views in two days.
