1. If you’re writing the review, the footage should usually be YOU playing the game. That’s like doing a Let’s Play off of someone else’s footage. It’s not genuine.

2. If the random schmuck you hired is bad at the game, DON’T USE HIS FOOTAGE! That reflects terribly on your end, especially if you’re the one that people think is playing. If you’re going to use someone else, at least fucking pick someone that’s actually GOOD at the game. If a journalist sucks at a game, that’s one thing, but if the guy that they specifically HIRED to record is terrible, that’s embarrassing.
