Ye, if this is about politicians it's based but it seems like it's virtue signaling rich people instead, which makes me think of this :

"You all can't be trusted to eat the rich, because you can't identify the rich. You'll eat a bunch of actors and doctors, and the rich will just laugh."

That's a very good point.
People who "hate the rich" tend to hate small business owners and other small fries because they actually talk back and people defend them on social media.

You could come back with bezos head on a spike and the world would shrug.
