It seems to me like it just might have been layers of bodies separated by cardboard stacked in a cooler for so long they literally rotten and got compressed down to this size due to the sheer weight of the other bodies pressing down on them. However that does not explain how these are so short since as far as i'm aware a human male is usually much taller than a pallet even when he lies down on it. Maybe they just rotten to the point where anything that was sticking over the pallet fell off? Or Russians really are so subhuman they did this on purpose and just cut the bits off so they fit on the pallets neatly
