About

Flashtok or Flash Tok is a collective nickname and hashtag for TikTok videos in which a person, usually an OnlyFans model, subtly flashes the camera in a way that avoids immediate removal by TikTok moderators. Flashtok has inspired several notable trends, most notably 2023's Foopah Trend, which saw TikTokers flash their breasts in the reflection of a mirror or in a shadowy closet. The term "Flashtok" started to become increasingly popularized throughout 2024 and 2025.

Origin

One of the earliest trends that could be considered an example of Flashtok is the Foopahh trend, which started on January 10th, 2023, when TikToker[1] @oopsfoopahhhh (now deleted) posted a video subtly flashing viewers by covering most of the details of her breast with her long hair. This sparked a trend where TikTokers find ways to flash viewers without their videos being immediately removed by moderators.

It is unclear when exactly the term "Flashtok" was first used to describe the trend. The term became increasingly popular throughout 2025. For example, on January 27th, 2025, TikToker[2] @venessasb posted a video in which a woman flashes viewers through the reflection of a ski helmet visor, tagged #flashtok, garnering over 65,000 views in six months.

Spread

Flashtok videos continued to prove popular on TikTok throughout 2025, as well as videos advertised as being part of Flashtok that don't include actual flashes as a form of engagement bait.

For example, on April 3rd, 2025, TikToker[3] @allie.secrets96 posted a video captioned "Hi flashtok" that does not seem to include a flash, garnering over 7.1 million views in three months.

On June 25th, TikToker[4] @allie.secrets96 started posting Flashtok videos in which she films herself through a mirror dancing in front of a stack of towels, then flashes her breast after maneuvering to one side of the towel. She posted numerous videos following this format over the course of a week, all remaining available on the site as of July 2nd.
