Fucked Miyamoto (also known as Fucked Up Miyamoto) is a doctored image depicting Nintendo director Shigeru Miyamoto with the Just Fuck My Shit Up hair, bloodshot eyes, no ears and an ambiguous sad, shocked or worried expression.

Origin

The oldest known version of this image on the Internet is from a 4chan post made in July 2015, in which similar edits of Miyamoto, Satoru Iwata and Reggie Fils-Aime were used to make fun of Wii U owners.

The original unedited Miyamoto photo is believed to come from a Nintendo Treehouse Live stream recording from E3 2015.^[5]

On October 10th, 2020, the image was first posted by user Jhonnykiller45 on the Discord server for Summitsphere, developers of ANTONBLAST. A few days later, the image was referred to as "Fucked Miyamoto" for the first time. It was later turned into an emote as well as a sticker on the server, boosting its popularity with numerous edits eventually being made.

On January 24th, 2021, a video of AoStH Robotnik crying at a photo of Fucked Miyamoto dubbed over with Twin Peaks music was posted on the Pizza Tower Twitter account, where it received over 800 retweets and over 3,000 likes (shown below). The original GIF was made by Discord user Orca with music added by McPig.^[1]

On November 15th, 2022, a thread of Fucked Miyamoto GIFs was posted on Twitter by user @ihavesexhourly, with the initial tweet gaining over 1,000 retweets and 4,700 likes.^[4] On March 26th, 2023, a man wearing a Fucked Miyamoto shirt was photographed meeting the creators of ANTONBLAST at PAX East 2023. This photo was posted by Summitsphere head Tony Grayson on Twitter, where it got nearly 150 retweets and 1,400 likes (shown below).^[2]

On April 18th, 2023, Twitter user @JayFii_ posted a GIF showing an edited version of the Peaches scene from The Super Mario Bros. Movie with Princess Peach replaced by Fucked Miyamoto (shown below). In under 24 hours, this tweet got over 647,000 views, 4,600 retweets and 35,000 likes.^[3]
