Spread

The tweet and its responses gained viral spread over the following days. On January 2nd, Facebook^[2] and Instagram^[3] pages Fully Automated Luxury Gay Space Communism 2: With a vengeance (shown below) and gossipgirlstills reposted responses to the tweet, garnering over 300 reactions and 2,900 likes, respectively, in two weeks.

Around January 13th, 2023, TikTokers began posting photo slideshows and video slideshows starting with the tweet, then showing three photos of themselves filling the role of each title (examples shown below). The videos are usually posted under the original sound^[4] "hey mickey baby state." On January 16th, Twitter^[5] user @RedQueenHails posted photos following the same trend, starting a quote-retweet chain.
