Legalize Nuclear Bombs TikTok Memes explained.

Where Did The 'Legalize Nuclear Bombs' Producer Tag Come From? The TikTok Sound Explained

Hip-hop producer tags have arguably become increasingly ridiculous as rap, trap and phonk have become more mainstream. This is partly due to memes and online culture.

Rappers like Soulja Boy, Chief Keef, Tyler, the Creator and more profited on their memeable nature. Others like Lil B or Pink Guy were the meme, pioneering meme rap and satirical hip-hop in the 2010s.

On TikTok, Zoomer humor and meme rap's influence is more potent than most platforms, so it makes sense why a silly producer tag like "Legalize Nuclear Bombs" or "Call The Fire Department We Just Nuked The Building" would thrive as a TikTok sound.

But where did this meme come from exactly? Who made the producer tag, and how is it being used by meme creators? Let's explain.

Who Made The "Legalize Nuclear Bombs" Song?

Without this trending TikTok sound, most internet users wouldn't have found rapper Joeyy and producer DJ Smokey who added the "Legalize Nuclear Bombs" tag to Joeyy's song "ᘜ𝒶ɹв︎𐌀ℵz𐌏" in association with Joeyy's group 1Team and Nuke Radio.

DJ Smokey has been producing phonk and trap beats for a while, way up in Canada where he sometimes pokes his head out to be interviewed by No Jumper and produce for Yung Lean, among other rappers. Joeyy is relatively new to the game but has been making headway after his collab with Sam Hyde in the song "GOOe" and the Sam Hyde vs. iDubbbz video.

Who Made The "Call The Fire Department We Just Nuked The Building" Song?

The culprits of this nefarious producer tag are the same: Joeyy, DJ Smokey and Nuke Radio. This tag was featured in a couple of songs in Joeyy's new album Just Tired, however, the predominant TikTok sound came from "Tempt" featuring fellow 1Team member Marlon DuBois.

This secondary sound landed on TikTok about a week after the first one went viral in August. It was used in the same way, for shitpost style videos and to represent funny intrusive thoughts that pop up in your head at work or school.
