Cody Michael Kolodziejzyk, better known as Cody Ko, is once again the subject of a viral debate on the internet, as YouTuber D'Angelo Wallace weighed in on the allegations that Cody Ko slept with 17-year-old Tana Mongeau. The accusations have sparked more videos and memes, and the situation is dividing the Canadian YouTuber's fanbase.
The YouTuber has been dealing with the controversy for a few years since Tana Mongeau first made the allegation that she had sex with Cody Ko during a 2021 episode of her podcast CANCELLED when she said she was "17 or 18 at the time."
D'Angelo Wallace brought the allegations back in a 14-minute video essay (seen below) titled "An uncomfortable conversation about Cody Ko," where the YouTuber explains with proof and evidence of the alleged incident that happened with Tana, saying it has been "swept under the rug" and could be considered "statutory rape."
While the YouTuber has yet to speak up against the accusations about him, let's do a recap of the facts about YouTuber Cody Ko, the allegations against him and the internet's reaction.
Who's Cody Ko And What Is He Being Accused Of?
Cody Ko is a Canadian YouTuber and podcaster with over five million subscribers, best known as the co-host of the Tiny Meat Gang Podcast with Noel Miller. In December 2021, YouTuber and influencer Tana Mongeau posted an episode of her podcast CANCELLED in which she alleged having cheated on her past boyfriend with Cody Ko when she was "around 17 or 18."
After the episode aired, Cody was accused of sleeping with a minor, as he was 25 and Mongeau was 17 when she alleged having sex with the YouTuber. The allegations gained some spread online following the episode, including through YouTube video essays and a post to the subreddit /r/YouTubeDrama, although it had no major or noticeable impact on Cody Ko's content.

Mongeau hosted the TanaCon convention in June 2018, which was an infamous flop that reportedly jeopardized the safety of attendees for hours before being canceled. Tana was also accused of saying the "N-word" in a controversy with iDubbbz in February 2017, among other things.
