On or around Christmas 2024, TikTokers began posting videos urging others to unfollow content creator Vexbolts. Vexbolts is a creator with around 2 million followers who is known for his meme videos. Some of his most popular videos see him making parodies of popular songs that replace certain words with brainrot terms.

Vexbolts has gained millions of followers for this content, but he's not everyone's cup of tea. Some people find his content cringeworthy, which seems to be at the center of this mass unfollowing campaign, which was started by an unknown TikToker. While there is no solid reason for the campaign, most commenters simply claim it's because of his content.

How Is 'Vexbolts Mass Unfollowing' Used In Memes?

The mass unfollow campaign is largely being spread through memes and videos on TikTok. Most of these videos use the copypasta, "Vexbolts mass unfollowing dec 31st, spread the word."
