- The Beothuk are completely defeated and their land annexed.
- Cannons are set up in defensive positions along the Iroquois border.
- Defenses are also set up in the European mainland. They are easily cracked by invading Sword armies, who are taking no quarter.
- The Ovon forces are funneled back towards the capital, where they entrench themselves and fight desperately, refusing to surrender at all costs. Great numbers of civilians are drafted for the defense, and even greater numbers volunteer. Families are fighting as units, organized around family members who were part of the army before the invasion.
- The fleet begins raiding Choctaw and Iroquois ports, successfully restricting all of their trade and logistical support to land routes.
- Reinforcements are sent to Panama to aid Doon in the defense.
- A new justice system is established, relying upon real evidence and witness testimonies. Fair and impartial judgement is delivered through the use of juries.

- Colonists avoid the Congo jungles, expanding deeper into the Savannah grasslands to the north.
- Public education systems are established, and it is declared that all children are required to receive such an education. Optional higher education is also provided, but not required, by the state.
- The agrarian economy is floundering, failing to keep production rates as high as other nations. It would seem that small farmsteads and independent manufacturies are highly inefficient.

- Insane theorists have decided that the sky is an ocean. How else, they argue, does it rain? The maddest of the lot have built sky ships to explore the vast emptiness of the ocean above.
- Nationalism is encouraged. A national anthem is composed and a massive arts project is funded by the state to revolutionize the nation's culture and redirect creative efforts towards patriotism.
- A special operatives group, called The Frogmen, is established. Their focus is on terrorism and stealth, sneaking behind enemy lines or charging into defenses for shock value.

- The Zulus are dealt with, being crushed by an invasion from the north and south simultaneously by MacTire and Navan forces, respectively. Zanzibar and Ethiopia send a few regiments of soldiers to help as well.
- A state welfare system is established.

- The Gibraltar toll is removed.
- Ovo is invaded. Their defensive forces are quickly defeated, and the revolutionary army moves deep into their territory. Soldiers are given no quarter, and once this is realized the defenders turn volatile, refusing to surrender and fighting down to the last man. This complicates the invasion attempt significantly and inspires violent resistance by civilians, who see the invaders as barbaric and dishonorable.
- The senate is concerned that some of the more ambitious generals are becoming too popular politically. They fear that they may overtake the government when returning from the war. An attempt is made to suppress this kind of violent militaristic patriotism by hosting state-funded parades and rallies. Loyalty is gradually moving back towards the government, but some generals remain popular, and their return to the homeland could be dangerous to national stability.
- The Navan border is fortified.
- A national food stockpile is established, allowing the state to regulate food prices and feed the population during times of crisis.

- A naval fortress is established in a good harbor in New Guinea. it is used as a base of operations to invade Majapahit, which capitulates instantly.
- Gold is mined in Africa and sent back to Syserror.
- Immigrants are given citizenship immediately upon entry to the army. This has greatly expanded the scope of citizenship throughout the nation and its colonies and a large foreign legion is established to accommodate the new recruits in groups which speak their own language.
- Slavia is invaded and quickly defeated with help from Zellania.
- A parliament is established to replace the senate as the ruling body of Syserror.
- Oil is prospected in Iraq. It has few uses in a modern economy, and is deemed virtually worthless.
