What's the actually ultimate kymcore waifu?

Monster girls are just furry-lite. This site is at least as furry as it is weeb, and I think the ultimate KYM waifu would reflect that.

Oh, and American Ronin speaks the true-true.

I think for a monster girl to be popular she needs to be a girl with monster features, not a monster with girl features. Some of the most popular ones just look like a mundane girls that dress up as a certain monster or thing (gijinka).

Having a likable face is one of the most important things for a good waifu, so the face being too monstrous is a no-go. Extra eyes are okay (e.g. Rachnera) and even crazy mouths can get a pass (Twistedgrim's Emi), but having both a wide, crazy mouth + three demonic eyes make her too uncanny imho.

Looking at Monster Girl Encyclopedia, MonMusu or our local Monster Girl gallery reveals that a popular monster girl needs at least her face and upper body to be mostly human-like. The lower body can be as human or monstrous as it wants to be, ranging from mostly human (e.g. succubi, orcs etc) to full monster (e.g. lamias, centaurs, scylla etc). Thus despite being composed entirely of goo, slime girls still retain a form that resembles at least the upper half of an attractive human female, sometimes even down to the legs. Attaching things like tails, wings, long ears or horns to your character seems to never harm popularity.

Skin colour seems to not matter at all, it can be anything from pale white to dark skin or even unusual colours like red, blue or green for more otherworldly girls (e.g. demons, spirits, lamias, plant-likes, slimes etc). Same goes for bodybuild, it seems delicately slender, thicc and swole girls all find some popularity.

You can actually go pretty wild with faces and still have them look pleasing. Hence, a lot of SCP-1471 fanart shows a relaxing set of features despite being a face like a decomposed canid. (ex. 'corner' of 'mouth' only slightly past center of eye) There's a lot of subtleties involved with that, one of which is the resting position of the corners of the mouth (which only significantly change position in more exaggerated facial expressions). I'll attempt to locate some fast examples.

1. Corners of mouth sit within medial corners of the eyes
Cute, infantile, docile, difficult to take as serious. A harmless looking face, common in "moe" anime.

2. Corners of mouth align with medial corners of the eyes
Gentle, beautiful, relaxing to look upon. A pleasant face common across cartoons.

3. Corners of mouth align with centers of eyes
A natural looking face, easy to take seriously. Rarer in cartoons, but common to real human faces.

4. Corners of the mouth align with the lateral corners of the eye
A tense, serious looking face. Even at its most relaxed, this face evokes a certain level of threat. Usually seen on villains.

5. Corners of the mouth rest at some point past the lateral corners of the eyes
The most rarely seen design, it is inhuman, monstrous, threatening, and unnatural. It can be used to bring out traits like belligerence and madness or to hint at a more alien nature. At best it can make a being looks exotic and powerful, but more likely it will evoke only fear and revulsion. As far as fan-service, it will usually only attract a more teratophilic audience.

Character may appear to be locked in a permanent smile if not actually in one like the Joker. This is also why some clown makeup is so scary.

Obviously, you went with option 5. That's okay, and I'm not shaming anyone who prefers that. Though, if you want to make a "waifu" with more universal appeal, try either option 2 or 3.

I'm GODDAMN serious, every female oc I made barely had any fanfare I wanna find out what you guys are will fu- hold hands with?

I like your content, i really do because OC beats what the KYM Collector bot floods the gallery but i just don't upvote because there's a cooldown and I don't have anything to say

I'd say the concept of an "Ultimate Waifu" would be incredibly subjective as everyone has their own tastes and preferences. But I would say American Ronin and Nigel The Treasure Hunter have a pretty apt idea of the most common preferences, even if they aren't representative of us outliers.

Even I can't come to a decision as to what my personal ultimate waifu would be and the closest I've come is by juggling my personal top 5 OCs that each fill a different roles/niches. Things like this don't just fit into absolutes easily.

i'm more into having my monster girls lean towards more monster-y than looking like some halloween costume. like if it's a vampire or like a more humanoid monster then i don't mind but if your werewolf girl looks like a fucking cat girl cannie edition, i'm out.

i admit i was struggling with this deisgn since i still wanted to put them into a more uncanny valley since well they are a monster after all. but that's just me.

Thing is, I do not think KYM agrees on one single waifu archetype on this.

Both of these images communicate fundamentally opposite types of waifus and both have pretty much the same upvotes.

If anything, chances are that aiming for an "ultimate waifu" based on shown preferences here would end up in an attempt to mash the best parts of each one in one waifu… which would either end up in a Mary Sue, or worse, end up how it ended for the guy who quite literally tried that in a cartoon:

I say we just stick to what we know that works and keep waifus simple in concept.

@Ned

Opposite? I hardly see it that way. To quote Ronin from just up the road a little,

"I haven't met a single user here who isn't a masochist into gentle femdom, either mommy or muscular."
-American Ronin, this thread.

I'm asking cuz apprently no one gave a shit about any of my OCs and I wanted to make a character that could cater to the kym community (well mostly the straight dudes but ultiko can change their gender soo….)

Maybe the not, giving a shit is a hyperbole and I need to stop wanting to force myself to become a meme but …

Why pander though?

That's the only thing I can provide. Most of my opinions are pretty dang woke with a few moderate and radical ideas. The only reason why i don't mention radical ones (like how cute boys and thicc dark skin girls get no love on this site, or maybe we shouldn't call lgbt folk literally alphabet people) is I'll probably be called a whiny #####.

If I went up and declared one day I'm gonna stop drawing girls and mainly draw curvy buff dudes the whole community will fucking hate me forever. So I spend each moment of my life drawing only cute girls to sate all your horniness for anime tiddie. Don't get me wrong I don't hate it but I've been stuck in this comfort zone for so long that may be I should start being more diverse with what genders I draw….and before y'all say draw more tr#p, no when I mean men I mean MANLY men and MANLY boys.

without a doubt, it’d be Samus

It's one of the oldest waifus in existence, she throws people into a frenzy far beyond the borders of KYM. Also no furry/monster-girl type bullshit involved.

You must not forget sharp teeth as well:

When i think about a signature kymcore waifu, i remember the dog from animal crossing. It's a dog, a good percentage of its pics here represent it with a fat ass/thighs and it comes from a media marketed towards children. I think that ticks all the boxes.

Would that make Isabelle the ultimate KYM waifu?

>for kids

family and kid friendly characters being involved in porn is always cursed for some reason…or at least for me. like i can see why some folks want to draw the porn but if someone asks me to draw it i refuse. I don't care if it gets more followers i don't want to get sued by nintendo.

Isabelle has her own gallery with 384 images in it alone, while the most widespread furry sex-goddess of the internet, Krystal, has 385 total images. Consider that Krystal has been around longer, has two entries all her own, and has a major presence in the Star Fox, Furries, and SSB galleries. Searching the tag "Isabelle" turns up 1,347 total results. This shows just how disproportionately this site is obsessed with animal crossing dog.

This picture is currently at +328 likes and 233 favs.

Perfectly 110% weeb while being a human-ized furry character because this site is full of softcore furries and furries in denial.

Yeah, you might be onto something.

BONUS!: As a point of comparison to the above stats, e621.net has 6433 Krystal prons and only 4477 Isabelle prons.

So you guys are telling me you're a bunch of furries in denial? Oh sweet Jesus.

Monster girls are for furries afraid to go the extra step further
This is a fact.

Kappapeachie wrote:

but most monster girls look like girls in cosplay though with funny ears and skin. how is it furry?

I think the logic is that they're technically still not a fully human character. A furry is basically a human mixed with animal traits, while a monster person mixes common human body types and/or personalities with monster traits.

For example a slime in Dragon Quest would just be seen as full monster as it does not have a human like body or personality, but give the slime a humanoid body and personality and then the slime becomes a monster person. At least that's the best way I can explain it.

The long and short of it is there is no one waifu. We just choose them based on, funnily enough, whatever is memetic at the time.

If you wanna go with normal skin conditions: It's like traps for gays afraid to go the extra step further.

Someone has came by to talk about how I've been a little to obessed with monster fucking and getting literally whos to meme me into shadman status. I made these threads to get internet senpai notce me but most of you guys got no,Twitters or anything and if I even advertise it I might banned for it.
