Found some good sized sprites for Marisa Kirisame:

We wouled kinda be limited on what attacks she couled do (This sheet seems to have Escape Velocity, Master Spark, some kind of Burst Spell, Final Spark and Dragon Meteor), but I think this sheet is fine.

Ok, I wouled like to put a few ground rules for Movesets;

-If you are a striker, focus mainly on striker type attacks. This game is no longer FF style so we can't be giveing everyone magic spells.
-No "Hit all enemys" attacks below level of 50. Even my character, who is a mage, doesn't have any untill level 60!

Reminder for our meeting tommorow; Noontime Pacific. REMEMBER.

We are going to try to finish all the movesets and character profiles so we can write the entire game without everyones assistance.

Heads Up: Im inviteing Russian Fedora in, an maybe Alex if I can snag him at the last second.

And remember to bring Snacks, Cake, and PAWNCH! See ya all then!

EDIT: I am no longer capeable of useing the IRC, if you need to contact me use the PM system!

And now for our first non-player NPC…

I removed the jump and punch sprites, because I don't see why an NPC would need those. In fact, I'm not sure why run would be necessary either, because he couldn't move up or down. So basically he's just going to stand there and maybe squint at you.

Update:

Because we spent so much time on the meetingboards, we got loads of work done! :D Alex was fun to work with, but besides that our turnout rate was rather… pitifull. The guy who asked us to do the afternoon meeting didn't show up…

But besides that everything went fine.

I used GIMP to make this one
It's a pain in the ass to figure out how to do, but once you know how it's not that bad.
Also, I realized while making this that the poleax length was off on one of these. I fixed it though.

As of now, Game Maker cannot export in .dmg, however Blue Moon productions have been asking for this feture for awhile now, so when they get that feture I will.

Also, I assembled all the sprite strips I have yet to animate for KYM-Tan, if you can animate them that wouled be nice. (Note; please at least have the canvas hight at 64 pixels or above, it makes my job easier that way.)

edit: DAMN! The end of the URL was almost desu! One letter off!

Update: Turnout was good today, but never at the same time.

Mostly minor changes where made, but we got 3 paragraphs in on the script, so we at least got SOME work done! See you all next week!

Just don't let it happen again! Lol.

Let's try to throw the Afternoon Meetings at least once a month, and lets have all the movesets complete by Sunday.

(Alex and RF can work on their movesets, Thundercritic can balance his moveset out, and everyone else can make KYM-Tan's moveset.)

I guess I will update from our surprise meeting last night:
-2 paragraphs of diolouge, but it will need some cleaning because I wrote it half asleep.
-I had been itching to do this for a wile, so we now have a 3rd pad to archive resources (sprites, music, 3d models, ect) and their locations for the game. It's easier to find them there than it is to randomly post stuff on the forums.
Exclusive to Production Team Members, I will also be uploading every playable version of the tech demo to this new pad, allowing the team to debug it as I go along.

Don't worry, every major update will still be released to the forums for regular users to play it. (Up till the Alpha Phase that is.)

@Thundercritic: Alright, any file I upload will now be ZIP'd.
@Pwnzer: My mom would have taken a sledge hammer to the computer, so your lucky! :D

I've been thinking about the 3D models and the cutscenes lately. I think because we can use an assortment of characters it may look better if there were just silhouettes of characters in the background for most scenes.

Take for example this cutscene from KOTOR. You can clearly see that they are descending into a forest and that there is a group of people. You never actually can tell who they are but you still know that they are there.

This would remove the awkwardness of having to create multiple scene files so that the correct characters would appear. This would also greatly reduce the number of 3D models that I have to make myself. However, KYM Tan and other characters that had to be in the scene would still be fully rendered. I also figured that cutscenes would be mainly used for parts of the game that simply can't be displayed easily through sprites such as area fly overs, introductions, transitions, and the like.

Thanks, now I can download in short time.

Miniupdate: Mainly did work with Suiseiseki tonight, and failing to convert a MMD model to something useable for her. Regardless, 3D models where found, and Suiseiseki is now peiceing me together like Frankenstien's Monster.

Note: There is now a cutscene board, however Suiseiseki requested that I not give it to other production members in case things go sour (again).

Epic Update:
We have decided on our world map, how the first Ark will be structured, and properly created our credits! :D Whats more? We have our :First NPC Sign Ups!:https://knowyourmeme.com/forums/general/topics/11549-be-part-of-the-kym-rpg

Just an epic meeting with a side of EPIC!

Update: This is by far the most work we have gotten done in a month! We are almost done with Chapter 2 draft 2, and we will be ready to start brainstorming for Chapter 3 soon! (However, it wouled be helpful if the two users present in that chapter where actually on to help us write…)
Also, on top of Suiseiseki's Work and scavenger hunting for Sui, we have gathered all the resources we need for the second boss, and hopefully we have our first remix by Kalmo on the way.

tl;dr: People who though this game wouled go nowere can SUCK IT!

Just a quick update on what additional meme-related ships I'm planning on using:

Picard's Enterprise.
Ackbar's Home One.
Samus's Ship.
WT Snack's Ship.
Tardis.
Nyan Cat (As missiles/projectile weapons).
Star Fox's Arwing.
Blue Falcon (Still getting the model).
