Hueynation would like to ask if Carib would want to be annexed.

Carib would not like to be annexed. As it is a kingdom with no royal ties to your nation, the king has lofty ambitions for his dynasty and intends to stay in power indefinitely. It is worth noting that, with the wave of revolutions in Hanunah and Pindorama, it may only be a short matter of time before Carib's government is overthrown and replaced with a republic.

As for why I never gave any warning about taking over Japan it was simple, I was in the same soil as my enemy. I couldn't freely talk about taking over the nation without risking the possibility of my plans being found so I waited for the right chance to strike all while building trust with my neighbor.

So when Japan joined the war and the alliance asked on helping me out with a coup if I had one in mind I knew that was the time to strike. But now that nukes are becoming a real issues better makes my Dead Hand system just encase.

syndic can revolution waves affect player nations?

Yes, but as human players have a bit of artificial luck revolutions are less likely to hit you than NPCs. Furthermore, the current revolution is for democracy. So, republics like Yuzco are generally safe from its effects.

….The Imperial dispatch officer, wounded and panicked, is riding back from the frontline on his motorcycle-sidecar. The defence has been broken, Cheswick troops begin their advance into the fatherland whilst the defensive lines lay broken and without order. Attempts at making radio contact with army group High Command have been met with nothing but silence whilst the Feldjägerkorps are nowhere to be seen. Local HQ battalions are without directive and now its upto to this lone soldier to investigate this bizarre radio silence.

After two hours of riding through the rain the officer arrives at the encampment of the 1st army group high command. There doesn't seem to be any guards posted, soldiers on drill, logistical movements, nothing. He kills the engine and steps off his bike, the engine steams as the metal evaporates the rain running down its almost red hot surface.

He sets off directly for the Field Marshal's HQ building, approaching the complex he manages to catch a whiff of a certain smell over the earthy stink of churned mud…Lacoste® Aftershave, he was surprised, unaware that such a perfume had managed to make it through the multiple Allied trade blockades imposed upon the Empire.

Removing his battle-weary helmet he approaches the unguarded main entrance, pausing for a moment his ears prick at the steady bass of…club techno?

Taking a deep breathe and pushing these things from his mind he places his hand upon the door and lurches forward into the entrance hall….

@Cheswick & CG

You continued silent assault upon the Empire is unforgivable.

So the Akash to the East of me are fleeing? would I be right in thinking that the zone between me and the Korumid's advance is mostly harmless?

Besides the enormous mass of robots that is eating half of your country, yeah, that area is completely safe.

@Syndic
The Innuits recieve an offer of becoming a protectorate, considering the ongoing war and neighboring both Yuzco and Akash. The Cheswick delegates plead for them to listen to reason instead of emotional hatred for Cree (Which is a tribesman squabble).

Being that Inuit is an autonomous province of Yuzco, they were unable to receive your request (and would have refused anyway). If you want Yuzco's territory, as Yuzco for it.

I would like to begin writing the turn later tonight, so if you are thinking of doing an edit make sure to get it in within the next eight hours or so. I won't be posting the turn tonight if I don't get enough primary PMs, because I wouldn't want to skip anybody, but if I do begin writing it there won't be any further edits allowed once I begin. Just wanted to give you a heads up warning about that in case it happens.

Sorry, I got excited and wanted to make another turn as soon as I could. You've still got an hour before I'm even allowed to post the turn.

Turn 13

Earth Map

Moon Map

Map Legend

Ongoing Wars

The World War (Anti-Axis Alliance, Khorumid, Ionia, Akash, Yuzco vs. Central Empire)

The Crabbening (Akash vs Khorumid)

Alliances

Anti-Axis Alliance (Denmark, Cheswick, Narthuria, Beothuk, Genzodia)

Yuzco General Alliance (Yuzco, Cherokee, United States)

East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere (Ionia, Khorumid, The Roses)

Yuzco Hegemony (Yuzco, Texas, Sioux, Inuit, Chinook, Wiyot, Carib)

The World
Common Knowledge Tech: Gunpowder, Clipper Ships, Steam Power, Printing, Scientific Theory, Electricity, Vaccines, Rocketry, Rifling, Steam Aeroplanes, Robotics, Combustion, Mech Walker, Computer, Modern Fleet, Machine Guns, Railguns, Radio, Internet, Genetics, Nanorobotics, Atomic Science, Tanks, Titan Mech, Satellites, Power Armor, Cybernetics, Energy Shield, Grey Goo, EMP, Tesla Weapons, Yerg Oog, Cryptoneurology, DNA Fabrication, Nuclear Weapons, Laser Weapons, Teleportation, AntiGravity
(You may steal these techs)

-The grey goo in eastern Europe has begun forming what can only be described as intelligently designed structures. Channels have been laid out across the landscape and towering spires are rising on their own accord. This level of organization hints at some form of sentience or, at the very least, the pattern of a controlling agent.

-Revolutionary sentiment in Beothuk has finally forced the queen's hand. She has signed a constitution guaranteeing voting rights to all, established a parliament, and conceded several of her powers to the new democratic institution.

Akash
The Amalgamate Synod (Taryn)
Tech: Gunpowder, Rocketry, Rocket Planes, Liquid Fuel, Electricity, Blast Pinwheel Engine, Lasercoms, Railguns, Genetics, DNA Fabrication, Biological Construction, Hardened Carapace, Hive Mind, Nano-Crabs (80%)

-The synod has been reconnected with The Child, which is now the primary crab of Akash. The hive has been reconnected with its leader and the threat of anarchy has ended.

-A giant crab is constructed quickly and sent to Pindorama to engage in crab-on-crab combat against Snargris. The fight has resulted in a stalemate, but has diverted the rogue swarm's attention to defeating the giant menace, slowing its growth and development.

-Nanocrabs have adapted to the Chinese bioweapons, making crabkind nearly immune. As such, the war is able to be continued unabated and the armies in hiding push through enemy lines. Anatolia, hosting the largest swarm of crab warriors, becomes the strongest front and Persia is quickly overcome.

-The nanocrabs have also halted the advance of the grey goo, forming a protective barrier along its border filled with swarms of nanocrabs.

Hueynation
Emmerich Dynasty (Sergeant Arch Dornan)
Tech: Clipper Ships, Gunpowder, Combat Armor, Steam Power, Maxi Bun Perfect Burger, Vaccines, Scientific Theory, Clipper Ships, Printing, Electricity, Rocketry, Rifling, Steam Aeroplanes, Robotics, Chemical Burger, Mech Walker, Machine Guns, Railguns, Metal Gear, Sneaky Suits, Cybernetics, Radio, Nanorobotics, Genetics, Cloning, Plasma Weapons, Power Armor, Modern Fleet, Energy Shields (90%), Lightsabers (90%), EMP (60%), Atomic Science (70%), Oog Yreg (40%), Titan Mechs (50%), Tesla Weapons (30%), DNA Fabrication (50%)

-A naval reform is enacted, the state seeking to modernize the fleet and restructure it based on Cheswick as a model

-More tunneling mechs and clones are sent to widen the Andes pathways, but their efforts are thwarted by Cheswick depth charges, which are destroying the tunnels as they are dug. Although Hueynation is able to rapidly rebuild its tunnels, they are unable to dig them quickly enough to expand their number, resulting in a stalemate.

-Supply throughput to Peru is still very low and Cheswick reinforcements have not been forthcoming, resulting in a stalemate on that front.

-Through the use of DNA fabrication, scientists are able to alter the basic structure of human anatomy, making cybernetic augmentation much easier. Their dream of creating giant bug warriors, however, may have to wait until further research is done in the field.

Monarchy of the Space Roses
Rose Dynasty (Tchefuncte Bonaparte)
Tech: Dirigibles, Gunpowder, Electricity, Printing, Radio, Airships, Clipper Ships, Steam Power, Printing, Scientific Theory, Vaccines, Rocketry, Rifling, Steam Aeroplanes, Computer, Internet, Space, Gay Bomb, Genetics, DNA Fabrication, Teleportation (30%)

-The Space Bar™ is now open, serving drinks to all manner of spacefaring individual.

-For some reason unbeknownst to the sane world, the Roses have sent the awakened space crabs to Mars. They have been genetically engineered to survive slightly more efficiently in the Martian climate, being able to survive with very little water and sustenance only taken from molds and fungi, and their home base is thriving.

Yuzco
High U-Love Party (Twisty)
Tech: Printing, Steam Power, Steam Aeroplanes, Vaccines, Digitization, Gunpowder, Clipper Ships, Scientific Theory, Electricity, Rocketry, Rifling, Combustion, Machine Guns, Oil Planes, Power Armor, Robotics, Mech Walker, Computer, Modern Fleet, Railguns, Radio, Internet, Genetics, Nanorobotics, Atomic Science, Satellites, Grey Goo (40%), EMP (60%), Energy Shield, Titan Mech (80%), Cybernetics, Tanks (50%), Space Planes (80%), Laser Weapons (40%)

-Anti air laser batteries are tested for the purpose of shooting down long range missiles, in the event of nuclear attacks.

-The Carib government is successfully overthrown in a CIA coup. The new republic has immediately aligned itself with Yuzco. During the coup, several provinces declared independence and were either invaded by the United States or have turned to Hueynation for protection.

-Relief aid is sent into the war torn regions of Mexico to help rebuild both the nation's infrastructure and popular trust in the government. Along the Akashi cession, settlers from the east have flocked to the verdant parries to take advantage of the completely depopulated lands.

-With the wars now over, music tours continue. Festivals are hosted globally, wherever there is peace, and Yuzco culture flourishes worldwide.

Central Empire
Strength of Will Party (Laika)
Tech: Steam Power, Gunpowder, Rifling, Cryptoneurology, Telepathy, Electricity, Tesla Weaponry, Clipper Ships, Scientific Theory, Vaccines, Rocketry, Steam Aeroplanes, Robotics, Combustion, Machine Guns, Railguns, Tanks, Oil Planes, Mech Walker, Titan Mech, Radio, Internet, Nanorobotics, Atomic Science, Satellites, Modern Fleet, Grey Goo, EMP (80%), Power Armor (50%), Nuclear Weapons (90%)

-A fail safe measure is activated to eliminate the grey goo. However, it has only shut down a very tiny faction of the nanobots. Engineers theorize that this failure is the result of mutation in the robots, which appear to be evolving at a rapid pace.

-Operation Sea Lion is launched in a desperate attempt to take the war to the Cheswick homeland. Ships attempting to move from the Empire's various ports to assist in the attack are destroyed along the way by the Cheswick blockade, leaving only the ships produced and docked in the channel to assist. Amphibious landing craft are launched from the shore and the soldiers endure a harrowing journey, being bombarded and torpedoed by enemy ships for an entire day. Only through their ability to absorb astronomical casualties due to very high manpower did the army manage to make it to the coast. Haglaz was, sadly, lost to a torpedo strike.

-Fighting in Britain is fierce as the Cheswick home guard and militia are mobilized quickly to deal with the attack. Bombers and fighters strafe the beaches and nearby fields where the Imperial troops have landed. Immense casualties from the journey and unexpected Cheswick resistance has led to morale plummeting. Scores of soldiers deserted upon arrival, and once the battle came underway the entire army began to route. Feldjägerkorps officers, who were tasked with keeping morale high and loyalty unquestionable, try to retain order, but many are killed by the rebellious soldiers. In the end the entire army is lost, most if it captured as prisoners of war.

-The nation's remaining army groups are sent into Gaul, but only with limited success. Despite several unlikely victories and a very high kill/death ratio, the tide of enemy androids and allied soldiers is too great to overcome due to the dozens of ports they now are able to resupply from.

-Due to the loss of most of the nation's industries and resources to advancing enemies and grey goo, nuclear warhead production and rocket construction has been delayed. To make up for it, low quality replacements are used instead and a single nuclear missile is able to be scrapped together. It is launched at the priority target, the capital of Cheswick, but it fails to detonate and flies wildly off course, crashing into the ocean.

Cheswick
The Council of Cheswick (Crimeariver)
Tech: Gunpowder, Steam Power, Scientific Theory, Vaccines, Rifling, Clipper Ships, Printing, Electricity, Rocketry, Steam Aeroplanes, Combustion, Radio, Radar, Robotics, Computer, Modern Fleet, Androids, Satellites, Nuclear Power, Machine Gun, Railguns, Genetics, Mech Walkers, Tanks, Jet Planes, Laser Weapons, EMP

-An invasion of the mainland is fought off successfully and many prisoners are had.

-The last of Cheswick's Akashi nanocrabs are deployed in Iberia. Due to being severely outnumbered, they are defeated by the grey goo.

-Laser weapons are purposed towards anti aircraft purposes, capable (it is hoped) of also shooting down ICBMs.

-Large magnets are placed in limited duration orbits to clear some debris and are of limited effectiveness. Some debris has been cleared, but it is such a small amount that making orbit again is still unfeasible.

-The Guild's teleporters are bought and installed in the Andes, where supplies are brought in for the starving troops. This has revolutionized logistics and reinforcements, and high command is lamenting the fact that they did not have access to this technology in Brittany.

-Mine shafts throughout the Andes are dug using ground sensors to determine where to intersect with the Hueynation tunnels. Explosives are detonated within them, causing cave-ins and landslides. Unfortunately, Hueynation mechs being purposed largely towards quickly digging tunnels, the supply routes are simply diverted elsewhere. This has resulted in what soldiers are calling "the digging war" in which Hueynation tunnels are continuously sought out and repeatedly destroyed.

-Exhausted by the war, the people are demanding that a peace settlement be reached with Hueynation. Peace protesters are crying for an end to the present war, saying that the real enemy has already been defeated and there is no further need for fighting. These widespread demonstrations have also spawned some revolutionary groups to also call for government reform and the establishment of a democratic system in Cheswick.

The Central Guild (Triangle Mare)
Tech: Steam Power, Scientific Theory, Gunpowder, Chemistry, Metallurgy, Electricity, Steam Train, Computer, Radio, Radar, Modern Fleet, Atomic Science, Internet, Nanorobotics, Cybernetics, Grey Goo, Energy Shield, Tesla Weaponry, Human Augmentation (90%), Teleportation (50%), AntiGravity (40%), Fusion (40%), Portals (40%)

-An anti-teleportation field is established in several key points of the nation, vaporizing anybody attempting to teleport into highly sensitive areas. Although the field cannot possibly cover every important location due to energy constraints, it is effectively defending what is most important.

-With the fall of Persia to Akash, guild representatives have seized Hormuz to prevent it from being eaten or assimilated by the crabs.

-The first sustainable fusion reactor is created.

-Teleporters with the range to reach Mars not being possible with the technology available, scientists have devised a new, more powerful method of moving over great distances: portals. This allows the establishment of persistent doorways between one place and another, although the target location must be visited first to establish the exit. Such an portal is currently being sent to Mars, and should arrive there soon.

-Bombs are being teleported into the Central Empire, almost completely obsoleting the traditional bomber. Although this revolutionary tactic has given the ability to strike at the Empire where it was previously impossible, it has done little to advance the war effort beyond the current near-total victory that has been achieved.

-Western Pindorama is invaded. The landing force has found great difficulty in maintaining a beachhead as it is continuously assaulted by giant mechs and endless waves of clone troopers. Narthuria has declined the opportunity to join this operation, not wanting to send armies too far over any sea.

New Ireland
Sons of Liberty (Snickerway)
Tech: Steam Power, Gunpowder, Ironclads, Geothermal Energy, Heat Resistant Materials, Clipper Ships, Scientific Theory, Electricity, Vaccines, Rocketry, Rifling , Steam Aeroplanes, Robotics, Combustion, Mech Walker, Energy Shielding, Internet, Green Energy, Titan Mech, Satellites, Modern Fleet, Machine Guns, Railguns, Radio, Genetics, Nanorobotics, EMP (80%), Yerg Oog, Atomic Science, Tanks, Power Armor, Cybernetics, Grey Goo

-Nothing of interest continues happening in New Ireland.

Khorumid
Eyyik Dynasty (You Are Reading This)
Tech: Gunpowder, Steam Power, Printing, Clipper Ships, Scientific Theory, Electricity, Vaccines, Rocketry , Rifling, Steam Aeroplanes, Rocket Artillery, Modern Fleet, Genetics, Railguns, Satellites, Bioweapons, Robotics, Combustion, Mech Walker, Computer, Machine Guns, Radio, Internet, Nanorobotics, Atomic Science, Tanks, Titan Mech, Power Armor, Satellites, Cybernetics (60%), Energy Shield, Grey Goo, Laser Weapons, Yerg Oog (60%), AntiGravity (90%), EMP (70%), Nuclear Weapons (60%), Cryptoneurology (20%), Tesla Weapons (20%)

-A giant antigravity installation has been constructed in central Asia, code named ULYSSES. The structure is something of a weapon, able to pull large pieces of debris out of orbit.

-An uprising of republican revolutionaries has been crushed in Canton province.

-Coastal outposts are set up throughout the empire and fortifications are built in key harbors and port cities to fend off amphibious invasions.

-Attempts to find a solution to the gay bomb problem have failed, in large part due to a lack of sustained bombardment providing new samples. The Roses have ceased their attacks on Khorumid forces, so for now such a cure is not necessary anyway.

-The Akash have mounted a massive counterattack using all of the armies saved during the retreats. Chinese soldiers have found their bioweapons completely useless now, due to nanocrab advances rendering them all but entirely obsolete. Only a few crabs remain susceptible. Scientists are working on a solution to enhance their weapons, but thus far nothing specific is forthcoming.

Ionia
The City of Ionia (CrowTheMagician)
Tech: Printing, Gunpowder, Steam Engine, Steam Aeroplanes, Electricity, Scientific Theory, Robotics, Vaccines, Rifling, Rocketry, Combustion, Clipper Ships, Scientific Theory, Mech Walkers, Nanorobotics, Modern Fleet, Internet, Atomic Science, Genetics, Cybernetics, Grey Goo, Androids, Computer (40%), Cryptoneurology (70%), Energy Shield (60%), Nuclear Weapons (40%)

-The nation's first national bank is established.

-With the development of Ionia's own atomic bomb, widespread fear of nuclear Armageddon has gripped the populace. To allay these fears, the government has invested in community shelters and underground bunkers to protect the people in such an event. Gas masks, Geiger counters, canned food, and other such supplies are also being imported in huge quantities.

-The Great Library is uploaded to the internet.

@Arch Dornan
We seem to have ended in a stalemate, however now that the Central Empire is about to fall we will be able to send our full forces your way.
However, we want to listen to the voice of the people, and offer you a peaceful solution to this conflict.

@Laika
Are you finally willing to admit defeat, or will you have this pointless war be fought until you are completely destroyed? I think it's clear to everyone that a new common enemy has arisen in the form of the nano-machines which threaten to engulf the entire world. It would be in the best interest of everyone to stop the fighting between ourselves and instead turn our attention towards the threat of the machines.

@Dornan
It is clear that we both have bigger things to worry about in the form of the snargris swarm encroaching on both our fronts. Why not put aside this senseless squabble to fight the common enemy. If you agree then I shall succeed to you the land in Pindorama that I have captured and you will do the same.

Also I see Ireland has turned into Frisk. That's good, we should all look to Ireland (the original one, not New Ireland) as an example.

I'm surprised that after 3 turns of army building and having my turns constantly geared towards the military it still couldn't fight a one-front war, is your military capability tied directly to the size of your nation?

Multiple full capacity army groups, potentially between 1.5-2 million soldiers couldn't defend a already reinforced coastline. Even with MP's, tesla weapons, good training, good equipment and the damn Space Marines. And then with a fully integrated Modern Fleet there has been nothing but total loss.

The primary driving Axis force of the world war was killed solely in Brittany. I have to say that I just don't stand by that.

Anyway, the Central Empire won't be surrendering, this is Gotterdammerung.

Your military capacity is related to a number of things. One of them is the size of your country, yes. Others include access to resources, which has been reduced over time for you as the combination of a Cheswick blockade and advancing Akash has reduced your trade abilities. Europe does not produce everything required to maintain a military industry. Your country is currently completely unable to import or export anything, rendering a huge chunk of the economy entirely useless, and making it very difficult or even impossible to resupply on oil and rubber, among other things.

Another flaw affecting your empire during the war was a lack of access to food. Germany and France are not exactly breadbaskets, and rely on imports to feed their people. The aforementioned lack of trade, combined with a total inability to fish in the North Sea/Atlantic, meant a shortage of food. So, the blockade not only damaged your industry, but also sapped the health and morale of your soldiers and civilians.

Brittany was not the only war front. You were also fighting in Italy and Denmark. Until you pulled away your armies this turn, you also had a sizable force readying up to fight Akash on the eastern front. That's actually four fronts.

The largest thing contributing to your demise this turn, though, would have to be half of your country's core provinces getting transformed into the new Crab Mountains. Losing most of Germany in a single turn absolutely wrecked all chances of your country holding on for any longer than a turn.

do Denmark and Finland wish to have a trading post stablished on their land? the carib too now that they have become a republic

the Danes and the Fins both would appreciate trade, however they have hostile relations towards one another and each will disapprove of any interactions you make with the other. Furthermore, they may soon go to war as Denmark might attempt to reunify Scandinavia, thus putting your trade routes on either side of a regional conflict. It may be best to choose one or the other, rather than both.

The Carib are part of the Yuzco hegemony thanks to the CIA coup, and as such are a part of its economic sphere already. You have free trade in all of their ports.

Yuzco is a fairly self-sufficient economic power, able to produce almost everything it needs within its own borders. But, rather than simply tell you alone how strong your economy is, I would like to instead provide such for the whole world. In the following lists the most wealthy/powerful nations are ranked according to certain economic indicators. Due to the alien culture of Akash and their lack of international trade, Taryn's nation has been excluded from consideration in these lists.

Trade Revenue (the total amount of money earned through exporting/importing in one turn)
1. Cheswick
2. Yuzco
3. United States of Pindorama
4. Narthuria
5. Ionia

Gross National Product (the total value of everything produced in a country in one turn)
1. Khorumid China
2. Narthuria
3. Yuzco
4. Cheswick
5. Cherokee

National Wealth (the amount of money held by all of the people in a country combined)
1. Cheswick
2. Yuzco
3. Ionia
4. Cherokee
5. Hueynation

James Blunt wrote:

so if i trade with one the other hates me?

If you make any agreements with Finland, Denmark will become angered, as they do not recognize Finland as a real or independent country.

Finland will not care if you trade with Denmark so long as you also treat Finland in an equal manner. If you exclusively trade with Denmark, and not with Finland, then the Fins will become upset.

So, with regards to where you want to set up a trade post, your options are:

A) Denmark only, angering the Fins.
B) Denmark and Finland equally, angering the Danes.
C) Finland only, enraging the Danes.

finland as a republic is a friend of yuzco, but i do not have anything against denmark, i want the danes to recognize that having many trading posts aids yuzco's economy and thus theirs.

i hope having both trading posts does not lead to denmark hostilities towards yuzco and recognize is only for the good of everyone's economy

@Syndic,

Your country is currently completely unable to import or export anything, rendering a huge chunk of the economy entirely useless, and making it very difficult or even impossible to resupply on oil and rubber, among other things.

When the lines between realism and fantasy begin to blur the idea of keeping tabs on something like natural resources was at the back of my mind. If only I new that I would have begun making moves towards a solution, petroleum to replace oil deficits, setting up trade links for food etc etc

Brittany was not the only war front. You were also fighting in Italy and Denmark. Until you pulled away your armies this turn, you also had a sizable force readying up to fight Akash on the eastern front. That’s actually four fronts.

I legitimately thought that I had occupied these lands, I was unaware that their were armies still deployed and fighting.

The largest thing contributing to your demise this turn, though, would have to be half of your country’s core provinces getting transformed into the new Crab Mountains. Losing most of Germany in a single turn absolutely wrecked all chances of your country holding on for any longer than a turn.

Yeah I can't disagree I got fucked up. How big was that crab?

Anyway It looks like I need to invest more time into auditing my nation.

What are the casualty rates looking like both military and civilian?
Total damages to urban and farmland?
Resource quantities?
And the current movement and attitude of these nanobots east of me?

@Cheswick

I no longer wish to fight, I want my lands returned to their people and for my nation to get back on its feet.

With my nuclear weapon building facilities returned to me I will be able to deal some damage to these nanobats and the swarm in Argentina. I tried activating my failsafe shutdown on the nanomachines but it seems like they are literally becoming a nation of their own.

Do you accept my help?

Laika wrote:

You are right, you did have them occupied… on turn 11. The next turn, the fronts were opened again. You can see it clearly on the map that there were three open fronts on turn 12:

I have considered, in future games, making trade and resources look as important as they are. Maybe marking the important resources visible on the map, as I have done in previous games with oil and uranium.

Laika wrote:

About the size of Louisiana. If you look at the map you can see a roughly crab-shaped mountain range stretching from Prague to Berlin. You could have also seen the crab on the map… in… the previous turns…

Laika wrote:

I hate to use exact numbers, because I don't do math and don't keep track of them, so these are going to be abstracts.

Civilian casualties on the eastern front have been absolute; everyone who did not flee the nanobot swarm has been killed. In the west, such fatalities are much lower, as the allies are not in the business of genocide.

Military casualties vary between fronts and operations, but altogether, your casualties have been very high. This is mostly the result of strategic defeats, however, as your units perform excellently at the tactical level. Operation Sea Lion saw a remarkable 100% casualty rate, with all of your soldiers either dying or being captured.

Urban damage has been very high, but the cities remain mostly sustainable. Automated industries, partly powered by nanobots, have been continuously rebuilding themselves. Rural damage is very low wherever there is not a battlefield, as nobody is going to bother bombing a farm. Resource stockpiles are nonexistant at this point; your country uses resources faster than it produces them.

The nanobots are indiscriminate and move at a rapid pace wherever they are unobstructed. They have no attitude that can be determined; they are currently more of a natural disaster than an enemy faction.

I will agree to peace but only on the conditions that you undergo a demilitarization and disable all nuclear weaponry facilities. I realize this will leave you defenseless against the tide of goo, and as such I will provide a force of androids as well as an electric fence to help keep the goo at bay. I don't believenuclear weaponry would be a good way to deal with the goo as the affected areas would be left uninhabitable due to radiation for a long time after the goo has been destroyed.

I realize that you likely don't want to agree to demilitarization but I legitimately don't trust you to keep the peace after you turned around and annexed Gnezodia (a treaty member) without a second thought.

You will be allowed to keep the land in what is modern-day Germany (including that which is covered in goo) under the condition that you demilitarize and install a democratic government.

You could have also seen the crab on the map… in… the previous turns…

I thought it was just an icon along with all the other icons, you make it sound like I'm not paying attention…

you undergo a demilitarization and disable all nuclear weaponry facilities

I can disable the nuclear weapons plants yes, with nuke countermeasures now in place they are essentially useless anyway.

I can demobilize too but I will have difficulty completely demilitarising when my eastern border is being consumed, I can keep France empty of soldiers but I will have to maintain at least some sort of military.

I legitimately don’t trust you to keep the peace after you turned around and annexed Gnezodi

(This was said before I believe, Genzodia, with Some Guy leaving the game was essentially open land for the taking)

You will be allowed to keep the land in what is modern-day Germany

Now you are pushing the boat out. I don't agree with that and nor will the Imperial citizenry. I am going to need all the land back that you have taken from me. Leaving me with this little strip of space is completely pointless and does nothing but give a reason for another war.

install a democratic government.

As far as I am concerned this party is democratic, it was placed into power by the people and it works for the people

(Also you'd actually be exiling me from the Central Empire. We play the game as the political parties after all)

Unfortunately you aren't in a position to bargain here. These are the best terms I can offer and if you refuse them I can assure you things will only be worse. As for the grey goo to the east, as I stated I can help you to clear that land with a force of androids.

Fair point. I apologize.

Just so everyone knows from now on, when you see a crab on the map, it is at a 1:1 scale.
