I have finished writing the turn with the exception of a few players. Since they are critical to at least a few wars, I am holding off on posting the turn for now. I'll give you all a few hours to notice and get actions in before I post.

-The Ayyubids are overthrown by a Narthurian invasion. Arabia and Iraq break free and Saruhan absorbs the Levant.

-The spirit of republicanism has reached Pindorama. To prevent an uprising, the kings of several nations have bowed to revolutionary suggestions. Tairona, Muisca, and Chimor have banded together to form a triumvirate noble republic, led by three kings and an elected representative of the people. Arawak and Tucanoa have also joined as confederated states, and a senate has been formed to represent all of the provinces. Thus, the United States of Pindorama has been born.

Akash
The Crab (Taryn)

-The crab has produced offspring. The Child runs rampant in Hungary and Saruhan, assisting an Akashi invasion of the Balkans.

-An attempt to colonize the moon is made. Specially bred space-crabmen are sent to build a civilization in the cold vacuum, and initially find success. However, the entire colony was wiped out when Borneo landed on top of it.

-War is made upon Red Hanunah and the Aztecs. For some reason, neither saw it coming, and both were ill-prepared to fight an army of crabmen. RHR has been completely wiped out, although the Aztecs have managed to fight back the tide through the use of defensive terrain and fortifications.

-Telepathic links are made with several neighboring countries, inspiring fear and terror among the civilian population. For the Aztecs, the effect has been the opposite, causing people from all levels of society to be constantly reminded of the threat posed to their existence. Recruitment is up as a result and the nation is almost completely mobilized for war.

-The Crab has been infested with Grey Goo nanobots, which are eating it from the inside-out. However, despite this hindrance, The Crab is large enough to withstand being consumed due to its sheer size; it will eventually be destroyed, but this will take a long time.

-The Central Empire has shot down a vast majority of Akashi space installations. In automatic response, they have bombarded the empire with everything they had before being shot down. However, a great many were destroyed before they could even register an attack.

-Unfortunately for The Crab's lifespan, another attack has been launched against it that has been severely crippling. Chinese orbital bombardment has cut deep into the carapace, tearing open holes across the armor through which grey goo can more easily infest. Furthermore, their armies have surged across the borders, armed with deadly toxins and bacteriophages designed specifically to kill crabs.

Hueynation

-Amphibious Metal Gears, code named RAY, are constructed to help fight the Cheswick armada. They have produced somewhat of a fair fight, and the shipping lanes have been freed in the shallow waters of the Caribbean where the mechs can operate. The open sea, however, is still under uncontested Cheswick control

-The soldiers in Angola attempt a desperate retreat to the coast, but have no way of embarking and venturing across the Atlantic. They turn back into the fray, led by Metal Gear ZEKE, and charge valiantly into the Narthurian armies. All are destroyed. Those who did not retreat with the main army to the coast have held out in the Congo, assailing the enemy from hiding when they can.

-Cuba and the Pindorama holdings are fortified. It seems that both sides are committing themselves to the defense on the land theater of this continent.

-Several naval battles are fought and lost over the North Sea. The Cheswick and Central Guild navies are too powerful and too numerous to be overcome.

-The battle for Brittany rages on, with both sides seemingly equally matched. Massive casualties are racked up on both sides. Furor Teutonicus has stormed into battle and made quite an impact, but was ultimately destroyed by jet bombers while venturing too far behind enemy lines, without air support, to chase down a retreating tank column.

-Grey Goo missiles are launched into North Africa and Poland, designed to eat organic materials. The Crab is now infested with the stuff. Nanobots, swept along by winds, consume the African coastline to the east and west and spread out across eastern Europe. Vegetation, such as grass and shrubs, is being consumed at an exponential rate as the goo expands its domain.

-The armies march east to repulse the Akashi invasion, but no attack comes. The generals dare not advance beyond the border, for fear of greay goo infestation.

-Akashi satellites are dispatched with great urgency by railguns. As it has become apparent that the Empire is now at war with Akash, the satellites concentrate upon Europe and bombard the Empire before they are put out of commission.

Cheswick

-New EMP weapons are deployed in Brittany to make tesla weaponry less threatening. Unfortunately, simultaneous Imperial development of EMP technology has given them insight into how to counteract this advantage, somewhat lessening the impact of Cheswick's advantage. Additionally, EMP weaponry does not pair well with androids, and yet again the Cheswick armies are put at unusual impasses that their allies can easily circumvent. As result, the androids have found most of their success in the navy, air force, and logistics.

-Hueynation, with the help of ocean-going Metal Gears, have secured close-to-shore shipping lanes and have reduced the impact of the blockade. However, they still cannot access anything outside of the Carribean and Pindorama.

-The Japanese navy is soundly beaten in a series of battles forcing them to retreat to home ports. They are continuously bombed from the air until the war ends with their surrender to Ionia.

-Nicaragua is easily retaken with almost no resistance due to Aztec total war against the Akash in the north. Emboldened by their success, the armies have advanced further north, seizing land up to the Yucatan.

-The Empire retreats from Iberia, but sabotages the land as they retreat with grey goo, which is now spreading across the countryside.

-The war in Brittany continues. Due to the extremely small front line, the Imperials have squarely contained the invaders and are very efficiently bombarding the peninsula while fortifying the small exit. The death toll is absolutely catastrophic and the front lines are immovable.

-A giant mech called Bet is constructed. it is designed specifically with the ocean in mind, and is able to walk along the sea floor.

-War is declared upon Akash. The Swords of Ukko target only The Crab and bombard it continuously with their entire payload, severely damaging it in several locations. The battle for orbit rages on for a few short days; may Khorumid satellites are downed, but the Akashi network is damaged more severely due to a simultaneous attack by the Central Empire.

-The armies advance across Georgia and into southern Russia, employing anti-crab bioweapons to clear large areas of crab armies. As they reclaim lands for humanity, they find a complete wasteland before them. There are no buildings left standing, no native populations left alive, and no roads maintained. As such, the terrain is as difficult to advance across as any other wild frontier, making the venture a slow one for divisions that are not completely comprised of tanks or mechs.

-With Japan being defeated, the armies retreat to go home to their families and Vietnam is rapidly occupied.

-Androids are now being manufactured and have been given rights. Some have debated against the decision, but upon realizing that they could not distinguish the difference between a human and an android, the protesters gave up.

-The Emperor is captured in a significant stroke of luck. His royal entourage, fleeing the inevitable capture of the capital, was stumbled upon by a paratrooper brigade operating far behind enemy lines. Thinking that the city had already fallen and the armies caught up with him, the emperor ordered his men to stand down, despite vastly outnumbering the paratroopers. He made a decree on the spot signalling the surrender of Japan and has only asked for a modest retirement and the return of his family from various places of captivity. The city council was obliged to accept or face a war of annihilation spanning several more years.

We can agree to no more land grabs in Northern America, however we would still like to operate as a buisness, and Cheswick as a country – so that means that we wouldn't want to lose the ability to ally northern American countries, including you.

I'm gonna need a confirmation from Taryn on that one.

Unfortunately, a lot of your actions are too huge to actually add in right now, as they would alter some things that have already happened so far as diplomacy goes. I am giving you Tesla Weaponry (so your robots can absorb electricity) and Space Elevator (as a tech, because why not?) in addition to a Martian landing, but no colony yet. Other than that, I put all of your war effort into Brittany, so you aren't actually losing out there (if your other planned invasions went through, you probably would have lost the peninsula).

Seems fair. I usually have the turns planned beforehand as keywords/short sentences and just expand upon them, this time I did as quickly as possible.

Carib is hostile to you, since you are at war with the Axis Powers, an alliance they are part of. Arakan no longer exists, but the USP would be interested in more trade. In fact, you already have a trade post in their territory. I cannot speak for New Ireland.

You just destroyed the Comintern of whom the Empire was warming up with and then you moved your armies into a striking position on the border, bolstered by a giant crab. You also wiped out Hungary, a good friend of the Empire and advanced upto the Mediterranean coast. You trying to tell me that this was a passive move when it came to Akash/Imperial relations?

If you legitimately meant no harm to the Empire then how was I meant to know that?

People silently make these ridiculous military and technological advances right next to me and then when I react I am the one in the wrong. The Empire has done nothing but advocate for good diplomacy and anybody who has been keeping track will know that these comments are nothing but propaganda aimed at denouncing the righteousness of the Empire.

Cheswick and the Guild invaded with no foreword, Ionia just wiped out my ally, Japan with no foreword. And now the Akash are upon me with yet again no foreword. My diplomats await diplomacy yet their is nothing but silence.

It's funny how people accuse the ever reasonable Empire of being warlike and aggressive yet there has been nothing but diplomacy and relationship building emanating from our borders.

Does anybody want peace yet? an end to the world war?

The Empire understands your withdrawal from the faction however we advise that you do not fall victim to the silver tongue of the allies.

Laika, you declared war to a country 50x your size with a history of strong pacifism to players unless provoked. You have never attempted to trade or ally with Akash, which is your own fault.

Your paranoia got the better of you this time.

Why would the Empire ally with the Akash? It has no interest on matters in your lands and trade is impossible. Along with the fact that your nation is crabs I don't see how they are even compatible to begin with. I've seen you put this plan into a few NatRP's, I'm not criticizing just stating.

Also you just declared war on me by attacking an Axis faction this turn so my first-strike is well justified. Especially without you even stating your business in Europe.

Lack of communication seems to be the biggest downfall around these parts

-The Earth's orbit has become extremely dangerous due to continued warfare. Satellites, blown to bits, have been flung into erratic orbits, crashing into other satellites and creating even more debris. This chain reaction, known as the Kessler syndrome, has rendered satellites of all kinds generally useless, as they are almost guaranteed to be destroyed or thrown out of orbit by impacts.

-The Crab is lobotomized, the Synod being ejected from its brain. The amalgamated synod mind is transported intact to an undisclosed location. Once this is done, the rapidly dying corpse of The Crab launches itself into a rampage in Germany. It collapses, dead, spewing grey goo out of its shell and forming a mountain range from the calcifying carcass.

-The Child makes a run for it, dashing across Arabia and diving into the ocean.

-The tiniest crabs ever bred, nano crabs, are able to fight grey goo in head-to-head combat. They also serve a multitude of other functions, especially medical, allowing the hive cluster to control its individual members at the cellular level.

-Railguns are aimed to the sky. Many of China's satellites are shot down. The land war fares much less successfully, with Chinese bioweapons devastating the ranks of the crab armies, which have remained aloof to prevent losses. However, the casualties are slowly diminishing as nano crabs turn the tide at the molecular level, repairing cells and fighting off infections faster than the bioweapons can kill them. For the time being though, the armies are in full retreat.

-Gay bombs dropped from the moon by Rose artillery has complicated the enemy war effort. Being that crabs are immune to human hormones and the chemicals affecting them, they have gained something of an upper hand. As the Khorumid soldiers busy themselves with other things the crabs are able to perform strategic maneuvers that they otherwise would not have had time for, saving many crab lives as they retreat from the enemy's bioweapons.

-Saruhan has fallen. Anatolia is rapidly being assimilated to crabkind.

-In its moment of weakness, the Synod has lost its connection with Magemopa long enough for them to form their own collective consciousness. The delicate balance of coexistence with humans there has been shattered, resulting in a massacre of most humans in the province, thus ending its unique status as the "most human" Akashi territory. The new overmind is calling itself Snargris and is allowing its crab host to run amok, gradually expanding its borders in Pindorama.

-Metal Gear EXCELSUS has been built. Several of them, in fact. The giant, six legged robots are able to tunnel, launch missiles, and fire plasma weapons.

-Utilizing their knowledge of weaponized plasma, Hueynation scientists have invented a new kind of laser with incredible cutting power but extremely short range. They are calling this invention a "lightsaber."

-A pair of men calling themselves Punished Viper and Tazuhira Fiddler have become prominent officers in the military. Promoting hatred of Cheswick, they have succeeded in rallying the population in support of the war effort.

-An operation is launched into Cheswick Pindorama, utilizing tunnels under the Andes to break through the dangerous fortified line in the mountains. This has cut off the Cheswick defenders, leaving them surrounded and without supplies or reinforcements. However, the small size of the tunnels has limited supply throughput, meaning that the Hueynation army is similarly restricted. This may be the world's first instance of an army being surrounded by the army that it is surrounding.

((There was a rule update a few turns ago barring players from stealing all common tech, because it takes too much time for me to parse through all of them to check for the ones you do not have. So, be specific with your tech steals or they will not happen.))

This affects all sides except the Akash, meaning that the overall effect is negligible except in Russia, where Chinese advances have been stalled thanks to the more frequent love-making that is taking place.

-The corpses of Akash colonists are dug up from under Borneo and are used as a jump-start for a Rosen genetics project.

Yuzco

-The Aztec Empire is invaded in full force. Yuzco armies sweep down from the plains and push right back to the front lines that the Akash has been assailing, and then even further. The Aztecs, already severely drained from the Akashi war, completely capitulate. However, the fighting was extremely fierce, and resulting in large casualties for Yuzco. Years of continuous fighting has prompted the people to call for peace, and once again the specter of the L.I.H. party has risen as they gradually gain support from war protesters.

-Hueynation is invaded. The fleet sails into the Caribbean, bombarding landing zones as soldiers pour over the beaches and occupy several islands. Paratroopers and amphibious mechs assist in the operation. Although the smaller islands have fallen easily due to Hueynation's lack of a competent fleet to reinforce them, the larger islands and Pindorama hold fast, their regiments continuously bolstered by fresh batches of clones.

-Now having a border with Yuzco, Chinook and Wiyot have agreed to join under the great republic as client states, mostly out of fear of the Akash, but also partly due to their anxiety regarding Yuzco aggressiveness.

-The Cherokee king has signed a constitution establishing a parliament and republican rights, similar to those enshrined in the Yuzco constitution. He made the move in the face of growing revolutionary activity in the country, although he claims that he himself is a republican due to his commitment to Yuzco ideology. Regardless of whether that is true or now, Cherokee is now a republic.

Central Empire

-A division known as "The Imperial Knights" is formed. An infantry group armed with massive guns and the heaviest of power armor, they are a valuable assistant to any massed charge.

-The military police is reorganized into something a little more federal and a little less military. The new Feldjägerkorps are loyal only to the state and are infused into every level of the military to ensure discipline and loyalty.

-The first nuclear bomb is detonated at an undisclosed test site. The first weaponized versions of the bomb are launched at the giant crab, successfully slowing its advance by severing one of its legs.

-Attempts to continue the attacks on Akash prove entirely impossible as the grey goo absorbs the entirety of their armies on the border and creates a massive buffer zone between the empire and the crab nation. Both sides are quickly retreating from the expanding mass of nanomachines.

-A movement to fully automate the nation's industries is set into motion, greatly expanding the pool of eligible soldiers. All individuals left unemployed by this industrial upheaval are conscripted into the armies.

-The Allies have unleashed a swarm of grey goo nanobots in Britanny. This is combined with a massive bombardment from ship mounted railguns and bomber squadrons. The devastation is unparalleled. The entire army group has been broken and is in full retreat. Akashi anti-goo measures seem to have stemmed the spread of grey goo in this region, which has been quarantined to further ensure that nothing gets out. Allied forces have carved safe zones through the bombardment area, enabling them to advance at the Empire's expense deeper into Gaul.

Cheswick

-Operation C Day has been launched. Landing zones in Sicily and Denmark are chosen for simultaneous attack. While the armies in Italy have found tremendous success in liberating Genzodia and reestablishing their government, there have been severe complications with the Denmark front. The coastal defenses were just barely overcome through encirclement, but many warships were lost to bombing and artillery fire while sailing through the sounds. Massive casualties have been sustained on the land as well as the defenders fight a desperate battle to keep Cheswick out.

-EMP bombs are dropped upon the swarms of grey goo, but do little to impact the overall health of the swarm. Panicked and running out of munitions, the Andalucian garrisons have re-purposed several bombs to emit frequent pulses and set up a perimeter of them along a line, preventing the grey goo from advancing beyond it. This measure has been surprisingly effective, although it is very energy intensive and requires a lot of upkeep to maintain.

-Ireland is told, nay, commanded to cease its vacation and return to its rightful place beside Britain. But it refused.

The Central Guild (Triangle Mare)

-Cybernetics is taken a step further with full integration of the human mind and circuitry, allowing robotic attachments to be swapped with their organic counter parts at will. Only a few take up the offer to augment themselves, but such
soldiers who do so have never been more intimately connected with their weapons and armor than they are now.

-The first martian colony has been established. However, it is quickly cut off from supplies when the space elevator is hit by space debris generated by the orbital wars between the Empire, Akash, and China. The entire structure has been rendered inoperable, the cable has been cut loose from its ground connection, and it was forced to be abandoned. The colonists are presumed to be slowly starving to death.

-The entire front in Brittany is bombarded with grey goo. After allowing to to wreak havoc upon the Imperial armies, a swarm of imported Akashi nano crabs are unleashed to clean up the mess. To ensure that nothing survived, flamethrower crews are torching the landscape and EMP devices are being detonated throughout the countryside. Soldiers are advancing in narrow columns through guaranteed "safe" zones into Gaul.

-The Cheswick invasion of Italy is bolstered by Narthurian reinforcements, brought in at the behest of the Guild.

-Danish soldiers in exile join with Beothuk and Guild forces to retake Scandinavia. The invasion has been wildly successful as a simultaneous Finnish uprising has completely ousted the Empire from most of the territory. Unfortunately for the war effort, the Fins have been quick to establish their own government and declare independence from Denmark, refusing to pursue the war with the Empire beyond their own borders.

-Intent on settling on the moon, another manned mission has been sent up. However, they astronauts appear to have not looked at the new map of the moon, because if they did they might haven oticed that there is no land available for them to settle in without taking it from the Roses. Frustrated, they decide to create their own moon.

-Armies of engineers flood into Russia. Highways roll out across the landscape and supply depots pop out of the snow like daisies. The new infrastructure has greatly aided the advance, which is looking more like a colonization than a conquest due to the lack of any major battles. The crabs are in full retreat and are avoiding combat whenever possible.

-Gay bombs dropped from the Roses have greatly interfered with the war effort, slowing the advance as soldiers need frequent breaks to satiate their… urges. This has unfortunately allowed many armies of crabs to escape due to their new-found advantage of speed over the Khorumid armies.

-Attempts to supplement the Sword of Ukko system have run into severe complications. More satellites are lost each day to collisions with debris than actual attacks, and the destruction of each satellite leaves even more debris in orbit. This has resulted in a chain effect leaving most of Earth's orbit scattered with dead satellites and their fragments, zipping around and making the general area extremely unsafe for anything hoping to remain in orbit. The Sword of Ukko program has been more or less decapitated by this turn of events.

-All attempts to pin down and destroy The Child have failed. It has skittered across Arabia with terrifying speed, diving under the Indian ocean and out of sight.

-State sponsored mission efforts have been largely successful in converting most of the country to Suomenusko.

-Repulsorlifts, more commonly known as anti gravity engines, are created and purposed for use in the air force.

-The city's constitution is imposed upon the entire country. The Shogunate and the daimyos are abolished. Efforts are made to alleviate the damage caused by the civil war, although much of the country is unharmed due to the rapid end of the fighting with the emperor's capture.

-A memorial is constructed to commemorate the dead on both sides of the conflict, drawing the nation closer together under its conquerors, who seem to be treating the conquered more like brethren than slaves. This is a welcome touch of humanity that the Japanese are appreciative of.

-A video sharing website called MeTube is unleashed upon the world and becomes a viral sensation. Cat videos from around the globe are being shared and enjoyed.
