Yeah, as someone who can't stand the Flim Noir style at all, even when done amazingly, I could hardly watch this weeks episode. Not saying it's bad, but my personal tastes ruined it for me. That, and I felt it had a slow start, Wonderbolts being jerks again, and the obvious culprit didn't help.

That and for me, Rarity episodes are a big hit an miss, episodes that play up her haminess do well for me, but episodes that play up her fashion side turn me off (too girly, even for this guy who watches My Little Pony to bear) For this reason, I also didn't really like last weeks episode that much either, coming off the hiatus quite weekly for me. At least next week she's bouncing off Applejack, which is always good fun.

So essentially the episode was MMMystery on the Friendship Express but with a mystery that basically wrote out who did done do'd it (seriously, Rainbow Dash, Rarity AND Fluttershy ate the cake?! I mean we knew it was going to be new guy that showed up just today compared to Spitfire, Soarin and Fleetfoot. But how were we supposed to guess that it was 3 of the best ponies that did done do'd the goddamn cake?!) where there's a legitimate punishment/message that isn't "It's okay to completely sabotage another person's hard work/steal it as long as you apologize!"

Pretty good episode, but seriously how did that guy manage to mimic Rainbow Dash's voice in a way where that baker basically said "Yeah, she sounded just like you"? Ahh, Cartoon logic. The same logic that gives us a Cat and a Dog fused together and Candy Colored Magical Ponies learning about the greatness of friendship. So instead of trying to prove logic, have one of the many cute Rainbow Dash gifs from this episode that I'm surprised Stunthead didn't post (I mean seriously, it implies that she's shaking her insert one of the many names Stunthead has for the word "butt" here)

Also, there was some good RariDash shipping fuel here. I know some of you will probably say "But I thought you shipped AppleDash?" Well I do, and RariDash is my number 2. But you also have to realize I ship Rainbow Dash with EVERRRRRYONE

The internet made it happen.

@Stunthead
Yeah, Spitfire could've faked her mom's sickness to let RD prove herself to the crowd and other wonderbolts but she wouldn't go as far as framing someone for it.
One thing i noticed is that Wind Rider has some similarities (eye, coat and personality) to another ex-wonderbolt.

And then i found this while looking for the image above…

Dammit Jim, stop teasing us.

@Kewl

So instead of trying to prove logic, have one of the many cute Rainbow Dash gifs from this episode that I’m surprised Stunthead didn’t post (I mean seriously, it implies that she’s shaking her insert one of the many names Stunthead has for the word “butt” here)

Everything in moderation, my friend. I already talked about Octavia's butt in that post, I didn't need to bring Rainbutt Dass into it. That said, I've decided I won't shy away from talking about butts anymore. I'll keep the butt posting to a minimum, but hey, a word is worth 1/1000th of a picture, so I'm sure I won't have any shortage of things to say.

On an unrelated note, I've seen a bunch of people around talking about how Wind Rider and Larry Laffer share Jan Rabson as a voice actor, but I've not seen anybody point out that this isn't the first time Jan's voiced a character in MLP…

Say what? I didn't go crazy for that…

…okay, yeah. You got me. Too qt! :3

Overall, I loved this episode even more than last. Rarity was too qt and Rainbow Dash continued with her awesome faces. 10/10 lub et!

Oh yeah! And who could forget about that travel trunk! Where was she storing that? Does she just have a spare in the castle now that she has such good connections with Celestia? lol.

So just a heads-up to those who haven't heard yet – the episode Scare Master has been released early.

You can watch it if you want, or not, but if you do please remember that all content related to that episode needs to be spoilered until the episode's official release date – both on the forums and in the image gallery.

This concludes my PSA. Please proceed with your horse shenanigans.

Rarity Episode 1:
Was slightly less painful than expected. It felt kind of like the last time Rarity had an episode about dresses and ponies expectations of them. Rarity kind of skirted the legal lines when she made the "alternate" dress… But really, the business model that was being pushed is not fit for high fashion, its more fit for pop culture. High fashion exists to make the wearer feel unique on a level that one can't get with mass production, and things like the "princess dress" that's coat-tailed off of celebrity status is basically not much better than an expensive Halloween costume.

The reason it seems I took so long to watch it is that I'm a skittish kitty.

RariDash Episode:
Given I'll ship anypony… Twas good to see those moments… But they were all kept in the first part, so its not intrusive to those not for it. Funnily enough… I took really one one or two breaks for this one to get food and gather thoughts. I believe I figured it out just from the clippings. Really, the guy was the only guy who was close enough to her to clip her hair besides Soarin, Rarity and Spitfire… And all three of those wouldn't have motive. But here's the thing about how Rarity investigated: She had it figured out from the start, but still saw it through to the end until the evidence was indisputable. And acknowledged that.

This is where I want to point out where "convention" and "reality" intersect. You see, while this trend in "mystery" stories is common, the fact is that in real life you can't convict or exonerate someone very easily. While understanding that the evidence was obviously planted may free Dash from immediate suspicion; no prosecutor, no detective, and no attorney… Could possibly build a successful case around only one piece of evidence, or even as many as Rarity had.

If you turned the files on the case in this over to a prosecutor but left out the confession… They'd only say Rainbow Dash was clear of suspicion, and only because there's enough pointing to that she MIGHT have been framed. The case of Wind Rider would be given an "its only a theory" pass, and go on looking for more proof. Such as a proof that showed it could only be him hiding behind the curtain for example.

Okay… This is really detailed for an episode review, and rather irrelevant to the quality… But it is a point that some goofy convention of "of course he did it, why are we still looking for proof?" comes from.

As for the episode itself… We get Spitfire's mom… Daww, Spitfire cares so much about her mom. Don't see many times where anyone is that devoted to their mother. Also, anyone notice that Spitfire's mom is like… Middle age and still watching her daughter's shows? Like… Regularly it seems. She doesn't even look like the kind of pony that's into flight shows… So my major thought is that she REALLY REALLY loves her daughter, and is really proud of her even when she's been doing it for a while.

Wow… And apparently the fanart helps.

Episode 21

Holy Tornadoes, really? Already? I can't watch it yet, its 4:30 in the morning. But seriously! The leaks skipped 6 episodes?! Just… How?! And its like… The third last!

(Proceeds to collapse under weight of own head.)

Normally I wouldn't watch leaked episodes, but since this won't come out until Halloween, I knew I wouldn't be able to avoid spoilers, so I just watched it.

Best Costume, hands down, although Rainbow comes second due to proving that Equestria at least knows the concept of Space Travel

Admittedly, I only had to look up the center one. I knew Fluttershy was a weeb, but I never took her for someone who would watch Evangeleon.

Ok, Fluttershy, that is hitting a little close to home. I fully expect Applejack to have nightmares about losing another member of her family now. I'm just gonna assume this was Angels idea, you can never hate the little bastard too much.
All around good episode, needed it after the Noir and Fashion episodes too.

So I decided to watch the episode early this afternoon. I tried to log in to like and favorite the episode, but it turned out that the video was taken down after I finished watching it.

And then I had a shocked look on my face after realizing that if I made my decision too late, I would have to wait for the episode to come out next month.

So going on Derpibooru is an awful idea right now. Everyone posts pictures from the leaked episode long before anyone puts a tag on them because I guess the common idea is "The episode was leaked, everyone must've watched it by now!" (say that in the voice of the police officer from South Park to get the full effect.)

So, now that it's been a few days after they launched the campaign… What do you guys think of Them's Fightin' Herds?

I saw some discussions on both Derpibooru and 4chan because technically it's not pony anymore. Derpibooru's mods don't give a shit and /v/ is infested with a bunch of 14 year olds that have an aneurysm every time they see something that reminds them of MLP (seriously, i heard that even that Action Hank punching a pony gif from Dexter's Laboratory made them butthurt) so it was banned to /mlp/, now people that don't even watch the show have to go there to talk about the game and that's stupid.

@Baluh

Well, the idea of the Fightin Herds characters being stands for the Mane 6 is freaking brilliant and I want to see more of it. It's the perfect way to integrate the two universes. 100% approve.

Also, I think Pom might be the cleverest character backstory of the bunch. She's a sheep that herds dogs – which is awesome and such a Fluttershy thing to do. It's a great way to take the gist of the MLP character and retain it while also generating a new and interesting character that can stand up on her own (and also not violate any copyright). Whoever came up with that needs a gold star.

^

Eeyup. That's why. I am just wondering how a mare at 50-something years old can be a milf. I guess it's because of her looks.

"Hey! I've appeared in more than one episode, and why does that mare get all the attention?"

I still stand by my comment when I said the C&D was the best thing to happen to the game. Hell, there's several reasons for that actually.

1. They can actually get some sort of payment for this game. With Fighting is Magic not even saying "NON PROFIT" on anything and everything stopped the mighty hammer from Hasbro to rain down on them. Now of course I can already see people going "But Kewlb00b, money isn't everything! They don't need to make money off this game!" in my opinion, yeah. Yeah they do. Making a FIGHTING GAME with a small team is no easy feat unlike something liiiiiiike Five Nights at Freddy's. It's a lot easier to say make a platforming game, or a shooting game than it is to make a game featuring multiple unique characters with different fighting styles, moves, combos, specials all while making your own physics for said game (like I said, with a small team who have little to no prior experience.) and now that it's technically their own thing they can get it published on Steam and get some goddamn compensation money for this game cause trust me, after seeing the NOT EVEN FINISHED gameplay and knowing all the shit they had to go through with this game I'm about ready to throw my money at them and say "Take my money, all of it, you guys deserve this!"

2. They got to work with Lauren Mother Fucking Faust……I'm no Lauren Faust fanboy but goddamn that's enough to make me go a little crazy. How many people in the fandom get to make some sort of fan work and get Lauren Faust's seal of approval let alone her legitimate help on said project? Game gets taken down and this woman just comes out of nowhere going "Hey guys, want some new character designs?" for what? What does she get in return for this? Who fucking knows but all I know is she's cool enough to jump to these fans sides and just offer some support. That had to have been a nice little moment for them.

3. And the most important reason for it (at least in my opinion) IT'S GOING TO BE JUDGED ON ITS OWN. I've been in the fighting game umm….game long enough to know it's a niche audience……and niche to a T. I was looking at all the people going ga ga over this game and all I can say is there's no way in hell everyone following Fighting is Magic are big time fighting game fans. It kind of reminds me of Mortal Kombat, yeah it's a good fighter but most people are just there for the blood/fatalities. No one learns enough to actually get good beyond < < High Punch, they're just there to see the blood and the finishers. Which would be the same thing to happen to Fighting is Magic, there'd be plenty of people out there wiping out the competition with some OP as all hell combo they discovered Rarity has while others will probably just be winning fights by spamming whatever is the cheapest move in the game and then abandon said game when the appeal of Ponies wore off. It might not get as much hype now since there's no ponies but at least this way it can build up its own fanbase and not just be a well made cash in on the MLP name.

All in all, I'm hyped for it. I'm curious to see how a fighting game will work with characters that walk on four legs. Though I am quite saddened to know I'll never have the chance of trying to win a tournament as Rainbow Dash……Oh well, from what I've seen from the Mane6 they know how to make a decent fighting game and I'm liking the designs Lauren came up with.

Watching the new Equestria Girls movie now, I get the feeling Sour Sweet's faces and sarcastic commentary are going to be GREAT reaction material.

@New Episode
5/10. Pretty meh. Not really anything of note happened. No antagonist. No real conflict. Even Coco sort of did nothing. Either Manehatten's like Detroit and has such serious financial issues they can't maintain their parks, or libertarianism's really big in Equestria and the government's really small.

@Friendship Games
Won't be watching it just as I didn't watch RR because EqG's shit.

@Them's Fighting Herds
It's not Fighting is Magic anymore. I probably would have downloaded it for the lulz back when it was pony, but I don't like fighting games and certainly wouldn't pay for one. It's such a tight genre I just can't see it really doing anything. Pony was its shtick, and now that's gone, it'll probably fade into the background once more mainstream titles move out. There's a reason "fan projects" rarely try to file off the serial numbers and go mainstream.

Apparently, because they're using the skullgirls engine, it'll be harder to mod, so there may not be pony mods as fast as everyone is expecting.

That movie…….Well I won't really say much here since I don't want to spoil anything for anyone who hasn't seen it, I didn't see any of the shorts that came before the premiere, but I do like that they got us up to date with what's just the lead up to this, so I'm glad that I wasn't left out by accident. But this movie, was somewhat good, the reason why I say somewhat because, Today I woke up and thought the movie would be on this morning. But since it wasn't I decided, "Why not?" and watch the second one again, after watching it since last year……Yea that was meant to be a one time viewing. It was pretty mediocre when I first saw the second one, but since I have a vague idea where the good parts were, It kinda lost what little charm and what little it had on it really.

So I'm probably gonna watch it again, just to make sure I have all the details correct and see If I decide different with another viewing. But I that's what I have to say without saying specific details. The only thing I can say that actually REALLY helps this movie, We didn't have to pay for this! I didn't have to fork over money!

Also Sorry for all that I say in the spoiler tag, I had a lot to say and wanted to cover everything possible about this movie, So if you don't want to read it all, just skip it.

The main thing I can totally dig this movie into is the presentation at some points, For such a small thing that it has going for, it actually tries to make it seem serious, other than just flimsy panicking and saying "What are we going to do?" from the main cast. I like that they actually have a bit more realism to schools, on how they have their rival schools and shit, but the idea that they're all super into the rival is not really realistic, that would be more suited to College level Coughs Ohio state michigan.

Songs has fallen half way into just standard stuff that is uninteresting and just bland that the second one fell into mostly, the only 3 that stuck out was the Rainbow Dash Motivational speech one, The Games phase one song, and The Villain song. The motivational one just stood out because I really don't know, I guess finally it struck a chord of bland I can take, But I'm guessing it was because it was more about how they can beat the other school's asses if they got together.

The Phase one song was probably the best, the sound of the song actually made it work mostly, I guess that when it comes to a competition that isn't about beating a villain, and it's just about being the one who wins it and nothing else. But the problem is that the shit song of Twilight wanting more and literally sounding like a Disney princess, just threw it off the rails and made me want more of what it was just doing, which it came back to it soon and I was happy. And the Villain song, although it comes out of nowhere, and it's a little forced, both the song and the result immediately after it. But the idea that she's finally forced to use what she accidently got which she was trying to find in the first place kinda made the whole song work for it.

The rest……. Jesus hot sauce on a christmas cake is it nothing. The only one that wasn't nothing was the Princess Twilight one, For those who was calling Twilight being a princess a bad idea when it first came out, they thought it would become this. God I wanted that to be over the second I realize what was it about, and visually, it was nothing too! It reminded me of that one song from the Thief and the Cobbler, where the princess was just singing about wanting more and just spinning around mostly.

Design of characters, Still shit, I know I always say that but, I understand the idea of people getting used to it by now, but when every year they show a new way to make me sick……..

It just keeps reminding me how terrible the overall template it is, and when it comes to royalty ones, Cadence is the worse yet!

The plot and pacing, wow there was actually a lot and it all comes together, even though how the end of it became the biggest problem. The Idea that Sunset isn't understanding how the rest "Pony up" (God just saying that kinda makes me cringe….) makes me confused, doesn't she know what their best at, and what they are? Why is it STILL a mystery to her? The competition at first kinda made me confused, At first they were talking it was just like a athletic competition, then the First phase happens and its not that, Chemistry and Bird house building and stuff, Did I miss a detail? Both from the shorts and movie?

Twilight being forced to compete because the Principal Bitch won't let her into something that she wants to go to. Which is a fine premise why she has to compete, but the problem is what is the result of her becoming a Demon later on. She goes to this school to find and collect the magic that is in this school, when the Main Cast starts "Not saying that phrase again", and her device absorbs it, and also absorbs the magic from the mirror that should be close but fine whatever. The thing is, she's treated much more better in this school and when she knows what's she is doing is actually wrong later on, and she tries her best to prevent what's causing portals to open up. The idea she's treated right in this school is what makes the final scene really weird. I know that Sunset starts yelling at her for what she has caused, But the idea that she just got yelled by one person from this new school out of the better treatment from others, Why would that cause her to be a demon, especially when she's using magic based on the 5 elements of friendship? Granted she looks much cooler than Sunset did when she became one. But the idea that she wants "More" When she clearly see how she kinda now has more, makes the final scene all the more less powerful and mostly a waste.

The two biggest issues, Was Twilight turning into a demon, I just said why but that's not the worse one. After it all clears up, Where Principal Bitch says she's going to the School Board for all the weird crap that has been present. The others say, basically "Yea, have fun trying to explain all that, like anyone's gonna believe you." ……………………….

Of all the things that has happen since the first movie, wouldn't the ENTIRE WORLD know about the bullshit that has happened?!?!?!?! Front of the school building completely exploded and a she-demon was made in front of people's eyes, those very students becoming a zombie-like army FOR the She-Demon, Students grow wings and pony ears for minor shit, Dogs talking, The knowledgement of Twilight and Sunset being from a different world, The Sirens being there too, and trying to take over the world too……….I'm pretty fucking sure, that if that happens in normal everyday society, the world would know about this shit, this doesn't stay hidden from the fucking public ESPECIALLY when people's lives were at risk! The School Board probably wouldn't care about this shit, because they probably didn't do anything before, but they would acknowledge what had happened so far! Jesus christ……

And other problems being that The Main cast is just watered down from the show's cast, Seriously, how many times does Rarity keep pulling out a cart full of outfits? How many times does Rainbow Dash has to say "rock" in some sort of way when she has her guitar out? The other 3 still acts like what they do, but to a lesser extent, mostly because they're really given just a 1 dimensional feel of them.The problem with this is that this would happen if you didn't given them any episodes beforehand. If the actual MLP movie came out when no show was the reason for its existence, it would actually suffer just the same, The problem here is that they are supposed to be different in some way, but all they really do is what the only extraordinary trait from their pony versions and make that their only trait, but times it by ten.

The other problem is the opposing cast from the other school, what was I'm guessing is the opposite of what they are, but more aggressive and not friendly versions of the corresponding persons, but they don't really do much and hell I don't think we know most of their names. And it's probably only mentioned in the credits.

This is definitely the best of the three, but isn't really saying too much, First one: Unspeakably God Awful. Second one: Mediocre, and really only meant to be seen once. This is above mediocre, good perhaps, but that's probably because it doesn't run into the real problems until the very last scene of it all. Granted I'm saying that without having another watch and let it all sink in, I've been writing this since it just ended and it's been about an hour and a half. I enjoyed it for what it is, I feel like with every installment they have learn how they can do better, but at this rate, with what little better it was from the second one, if there is a 4th one, it's not gonna be much better than the third.

Hopefully It's all fine when I post this, I haven't used the spoiler tag in a very long time.

Also When watching the stream of this movie, when it went to its first commercial break, I heard a very loud Heavy saying "Oooooh Nooooo!" and made me jump, wasn't expecting TF2 characters to be added into the commercials on tv from the stream Hahahaha.

Edit: Well surprisingly the post was ok, but is there a way to make the spoiler tag text bigger? Mostly if I have to use it again later.

@Episode
Raritember ends with the return of Coco Pommel, the Fluttershy+Rarity fusion. It was an ok episode, just like the previous one, i like when they pair two characters with different personalities instead of sending all the mane six just to have some of them do nothing. Applejack keeps doing cute things.

@Tyler Bowman
To make the text normal sized you have to line break(Enter) after the <> tag, not sure why but it works.
I just finished watching the movie too so here's my 2 bits.

Since you mentioned that "they got us up to date" i presume you watched the US cut version (i heard that there was a recap of the first 2 movies with Sunset Shimmer)… did it had the Right There In Front Of Me song with some photos in the end? There is a canadian uncut version on Youtube.

Even the canadian version didn't had the Dance Magic song from the soundtrack album so maybe there is even more extra content that will be included on the DVD release.

Now about the movie iself, the overall writing and animation were better than Rainbow Rocks, the songs and villain weren't (that Sailor Moon "fight"). Also, Celestia and Luna are the worst EqG designs, at least Cadance has (almost) the right colors.

I don't think that the Shadowbolts were supposed to be the opposite of the "humane six", they had their uniqueness but they didn't had enough screen time to shine. Principal Cinch did mention their names, maybe it was also cut on the US broadcast (that i'm still not sure it's the one you watched)?

I liked the movie, but if they want to improve the Equestria Girls spin-off, they have to create a series for it (as long as it doesn't affect the main series) because the characters need a lot of time to develop beyond the watered down ponies they currently are and they can't do that in a movie.

I just watched it on Dailymotion. Fuck Youtube, found the entire movie without having to find some sort of coded video of "Abraham Lincoln used to really like Banana bread". I liked the movie though, well I don't know if it's that or if I liked the idea of being able to watch a new Equestria Girls movie in something that's not potato quality or hearing a room full of bronies cheering at the mere sight of Vinyl Scratch. Well, there's one advantage of direct to TV. But then again I suppose I watched the Cut 'Murican version, should've seen this coming because Hub/Discovery always cut up the EG movies on broadcast, never take out anything important but they always take out the best little stuff…..like the fucking credits. The Disadvantage of being direct to TV.

Anyways onto the movie, I liked it. Except for one pretty big detail…..the villain. I mean the "Villain". Pretty sad we went from The Sirens to……that. My Little Pony has always done well with villains (except for Sombra but that was a pacing issue) but goddamn that was the worst part of the movie. I liked the students…..if they had more screentime and had more than one line every act of the movie, at least they look like they could've been a lot more interesting than what we got for the main villain. I'll talk about it some more when more people have watched it and we can stop with the spoiler talks, until then I'm just letting the people who haven't seen the movie…..not to expect one of the good My Little Pony villains of the past….not in the slightest.

The Climax was great though. 7/10 still not as bad as the original Equestria Girls.

Did the ending straight up make a reference towards the season 5 finale coming up?

@Baluh
Thanks! Also I watched the american stream of it, since I was late to hear about Canada getting a first look at it. Also thanks for the link to the movie too, I'll try to see it again some time soon.

So, my two cents on Friendship Games:

Story and character wise, better than the first two EQG films. Honestly, Sunset Shimmer's shaping up to be one of my favorite characters just for her development. She started out rough, but she warmed up on me as time went on. I also enjoyed Twilight's role in this (aside from the "I Want More" song, too basic). I like that the film played off both sides of the story. The Humane 5, as TV Tropes dubs them, and the Crystal Prep counterparts were really cool too. Principal Cinch, however, felt like a typical evil principal character. (BTW, principals aren't allowed to blackmail students, can they?). And to be honest, Flash should be written out entirely--he literally contributes nothing all three movies.

Climax-wise, Rainbow Rocks is still the best, but still better than the first EQG. While short, sort of out of nowhere, and that it would've been cool to have a full battle, and this goes back to Sunset and Twilight, the visuals and interactions between them really sold me.

All in all, I enjoyed the film, especially with Sunset and Twilight. The film is a step up from the first and second (aside from the climax compared to the second), the humor is still just right, the songs are neat, and I read a comment that the film doesn't necessarily have a villain, which I think is pretty nice.

@Episode
Nothing super special, but we got to see Coco Pommel being a cutie, so can't complain.

Plus we got to see Babs Seed sneaking around in the background! With Aunt Orange! I will now think of them as mother/daughter until the show says otherwise. It's too bad she doesn't have her cutie mark here… I'm assuming they just didn't update the flash model yet.

@Them's Fightin' Herds
I have high hopes for this project. The fandom may not have the flooding power they used to, but if it means making Lauren Faust happy, this game is going to get funded. I tossed in $15 USD and I can't say I'm a huge fighting-game person. I guess how well it does once it releases is all up to whether or not it can find an audience, and that's all based on weird memetic stuff I don't understand. Hopefully at least a few Fighting Game websites will pick up on it once it releases and encourage people to give it a shot.

@Friendship Games

I don't know what it was, but I didn't really feel as though I gained anything from watching this movie. Maybe it was just the fact that I was watching it on my phone at midnight after only getting home at 10, but it was just sorta lackluster. I thought maybe it was because six new characters was a lot to take in for one movie, but then again, The Cutie Map gave us 5 new characters in only 45 minutes, and that worked fine. I guess maybe the reason I didn't care for it as much was there was very little pandering… other than this.

I know this seems petty, but without the pandering, I sorta realized just how little charm Equestria Girls really has. Fewer charming character moments, no cute ponies, much less compelling characters (simply because, as I think was said already, this universe hasn't developed them yet)… Sunset Shimmer was okay, but she was okay in the last movie too. Perhaps I'm preaching to the choir here but Equestria Girls doesn't really offer anything that Friendship Is Magic couldn't do better. I don't plan on re-watching this, at least not on my own. Just give me a few cute gifs of Human Derpy and the extent of my interest has been reached.

Idk, I really liked this movie, but it seems everyone is just mehing it.

I think Unleash the Magic is now one, if not my favorite pony song. The only problem I really had was too much Cinch and not enough Shadow Bolts, I could see Cinch's role being completely taken over by Peer Pressure from the ShadowBolts tbh. Other than that, I liked it a lot better than the last three episodes. Also, Sci-Twi is the cutest thing ever.

Hmm, that is a bit odd. I wonder how the sporting arena was set up in a short amount of time.

Makes me wonder why they would want Equestrian Magic seeing how they apparently have Magic themselves. Or enough money to hire an army of frontloaders

The movie was pretty neat. But what kind of high school has motocross as a sporting event? They must all be rich.

In other news, I was on a train so I managed to watch another episode! I don't know whether anyone even cares about my recap/report things anymore, but if you do I'll probably have one once I get at least one more under my belt.

Yes, i think they did, trapping Twilight in a time loop sounds like a part of Starlight's plan to change history. Looks like the mid-season hiatus messed up their time schedule.

Thought so, good thing this movie didn't have some other late season 5/finale spoilers in it or else……ehhhh, way to go Discovery Family. You have one job, air the Equestria Girls movies AFTER the finale.

Imagine if we got Equestria Girls 1 or 2 before the seasons 3 or 4's finale. Can you imagine "WHY THE FUCK DOES TWILIGHT HAVE WINGS?! SHE'S A PRINCESS??? SINCE WHEN?!" "WHERE DID THAT FUCKING CASTLE COME FROM?! PRINCESS OF FRIENDSHIP??? WHAT THE HELL DID WE MISS?!"

at around 25 mins a man just walks up to the microphone and says " I want to come inside rainbow dash" Thats when I realized it had been 25 mins.

That was all I needed to know. Multiply that times 25 minutes and I'm sure that's 25 times more than I can handle for my daily cringe intake. Plus this guy was apparently in the video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYGCplSq8S0).

"If I were at that convention, I would take that fucking microphone away from the fat guy……..the way he has to be the center of attention at all times is overwhelmingly annoying. "
"Which fat guy?"
"THE fat guy."
"but which THE fat guy?"
"The one who likes Ponies"
"but which THE fat guy who likes ponies?"
"The fat one"
It's okay, it's /mlp/ half of them over there probably pretend this doesn't exist.
