I'm sure it's already been posted in this thread before, but I'm afraid I can't find a "search this thread" feature, so I'm just going to ask again.

How the heck do you get the "40 combo in training" challenge? I somehow got a combo of 22 with Little Mac, but I don't know how! And now that I've unlocked Panel 3, there's one for a 100 combo?! Sheesh! Help, please!

Set the CP damage to 999% and start pummeling with Kirby is what I've heard.

Smart bombs + King Dedede.

I believe the most you can have is four so put Dedede next to three of them and throw the fourth one at him. You'll be able to break 100 with this.

This worked like a charm! 122 combo no problem. Thank you!

Guesses at what we'll be seeing around this time tomorrow:

- A trailer for both Duck Hunt and Bowser Junior (most likely a single trailer to start the Nintendo Direct off with).
- Cross-console connectivity features.
- Additional items, Assist Trophies, and Pokemon.
- Stages out the wazoo (at least 5-7, at most 10-15).
- Stage Bosses.
- Stage Builder: Gamepad Edition.
- 8-Player Mode.
- Smash World.
- Master Orders/Crazy Orders.
- Additional Modes, returning and new (Sakurai said that the Wii U version will have a large number of modes in Famitsu, and given the absence of something on the scale of The Subspace Emissary and the greater amount of disk space, it's not hard to see why.)
- Tease for DLC (which, as mentioned previously, there is evidence for in the 3DS version's files).

So I found this video earlier. I have got to say… This video explains my exact thoughts on melee and why the melee community is garbage.

Take a watch. You won't be disappointed… (Unless you're a meleefag, but if you are, that pretty much means everything disappoints you.)

Something weird I just noticed – you remember that roster with the five extra characters, back when the Final Five were being discussed? This one:

Compare Mewtwo's mug there with his 3DS picture here:

Rotate the trophy around a bit, and their faces should match up (the tail would be in roughly the same location, too). If this isn't a coincidence, then we could be looking at a leak of the DLC roster (which would apparently also add the Chorus Men, Ridley, Dixie Kong, and Wolf back to the fray).

As I've said before, if it was real, why is there a clearer version? And why are some icons blurry and some not? Besides, Mewtwo was a heavily requested character, and it's not surprising that a fan-made edit would put him in. Plus I thought the picture was a proven fake anyway, since there's no room for the Mii Fighters, at least not on the top screen.

You are. You have to be at this point.
Otherwise you are a lost cause.

I guess missing the first half of the stream hasn't helped though.

So this is the opening intro for the Wii U version.
It looks and feels great and it looks good too with all the action as well.
I still prefer this fan made version a bit better:

Thoughts??

X-cellent! Less x-cellent the second part, but still very good.
I tell you: One of my fantasies is a Super Smash Bros. Intro with this music:

Maybe I'll do it myself, like I did for the Brawl one:

I'm super hyped for the music, music has to be my favourite part of smash, so 3ds was a little disappointing. Also does anyone recognize the song at no.48 on the direct? I feel like I recognize it, but I can't put my finger on it, and it's bugging me.

Other than that:

-Stage Builder looks fucking badass, it looks so awesome. Miles and miles better than Brawl and I haven't even played it.
-The Master/Crazy hand modes look like a fun little distraction, should be interesting
-Smash tour looks eh, seems better than smash run at least
-Fuck Target Blast I want Target smash back
-Mewtwo and the Miiverse stage look neat, glad that there's dlc. Gives me hope for Chorus Men again
-The stages overall look like fun, the bigger stages look a bit too big though
-8 player smash is so fucking awesome, sucks that it's local only, I don't have that many gamer friends
-classic mode looks weird, I don't entirely get how it works yet
-Glad event mode is back, loved that mode

Overall, looks way better than 3ds, which is only a plus to me

There's at least 437 songs in Smash Wii U. Incredible!

HOLY BEETHOVEN!! That's a lot of music! I will have fun choosing the BGM for my own stages!

Hold your symphonies a bit. It's not clear how much of that will be unlocked from the get go. You might be grabbing CDs for a while to get the good stuff. I wonder if there will be some songs from Hyrule Warriors in the mix.

In other news, I beat Master Core for the first time yesterday. 'Twas good to show mah moves. Doing Falcon's side taunt between each transformation felt so right.

Another silly leak, courtesy of this guy. It's allegedly a look at a DLC pack containing four characters (Wolf, Isaac, Bandanna Dee, and Mewtwo).

There are also some images he posted for proof.

It's probably fake (unless those character icons are just placeholders; I'd imagine at this point, Mewtwo's render hasn't been made yet), but it looks interesting nonetheless. The uploader says that he wants to upload another video either this Saturday or the next to avoid having his videos taken down.

Also, after the first update, somebody allegedly found these icons added in the data:

They appear to be for the following franchises: Ice Climber, Nintendo Land, Golden Sun, Chibi-Robo, The Wonderful 101, and Rhythm Heaven. I have reservations on this as well, but nonetheless, they look neat.

This is the lamest "leak" yet. The Wolf and Bandanna Dee are from here and here.

Also, why the fuck would he even have the DLC, it probably not even done yet. And why would it even be on the eShop?

Regarding the symbols, unless you can provide the sauce to where they were initially posted, then I'm not buying it. Besides, the Smash 3DS art assets were dumped last month, and these were nowhere to be seen.

In other words, it's probably

The page on this site that apparently relayed this information. Ask the person that uploaded it here.

Yeah, I knew the Video was fake mainly because the icons for Wolf and Bandana Dee where used in 4chan Character Wishlists left and right.

As for the icons, they seem… a bit too Big to be 3DS assets. Not enough care was put into consistency with existing assets it seems.

Guys, check this out. It seems for some reason the menu theme of Smash for Wii U has more instruments! They're fundamentally the same song, but the added layers make it amazing.
