I say the Rayman leak is probably real, as in "It's was thought of by the developers."

Whether or not it (and the Shop icon) become playable are different. I lean towards the Shop icon being more than just a way to purchase two DLC (in Mewtwo or Rayman, which has me more excited than a character I never played as when I was younger.) So I'd wager that Rayman is real and will come to fruition, and that the Shop icon will have a lot of fun things to add to the game like music, maybe stages,

Turns out it's fake. If there's one thing I can say this guy did one hell of a job making it look more convincing than the leak that actually proved to be real. But on Tuesday supposedly Ubisoft has some news on Rayman if that actually amounts to anything.

So when do you guys think the promised additions will be patched in for the Wii U version? I'm talking about Tournament Mode, stage sharing, and that Miiverse stage. I honestly thought the latter wouldn't take this long, which makes me suspect it'll just be pre-chosen posts (lame).

I'm also curious as to what stages from previous iterations you want as DLC? That includes the 3DS stages.

From N64: I think Hyrule Castle should really come back after being snubbed from four games, but graphically updated. I also want the original Planet Zebes back in.

From Melee: Big Blue was loads of fun, especially when abusing speed boosts. Fountain of Dreams was gorgeous and I don't know why it was removed. The original Pokemon Stadium was good. Venom and Yoshi's Story are the last two deserving ones.

From Brawl: Pirate Ship and Yoshi's Island are the only good ones.

Lastly, 3DS (likely won't happen because Sakurai want uniqueness): Paper Mario is pretty good outside of Bowser's Castle, Spirit Train is pretty cool, I really like Mute City, and Tomodachi Life is neat outside of the blastzone being extremely close to the stage's top.

My guess is sometime this month or the next is when the new additions will be added. DLC will more than likely just be past stages, and I doubt there will be crossover stages from the 3DS version.

I'm pretty sure Ice Climbers will be back and improved. For example, after being swipped out, the second Ice Climber will return after a while, totally restored,

I believe Sakurai said that there wouldn't be any characters in one game that wasn't in another, and the 3DS hardware couldn't handle the potential for that many Nana's and Popo's.

He could back out of that and just bring it to the Wii U version. Another option would be just bringing back Popo/Nana without Nana/Popo with an entirely different moveset. But with how much Sakurai is already suffering, I think making Mewtwo as balanced as most of the rest of the roster is enough.

If there's another character, I'm expecting it to be someone who was removed. Wolf. Pichu. Lucas. Something like that.

Maybe Sakurai wasn't totally sure the 3DS could handle that, and maybe, if in the meanwhile he has tested it can, he will correct his own stantment.

Nope, the 3DS is confirmed to be unable to handle the Ice Climbers: the Climbers were working fine and all but done on the Wii U version when they realized that the 3DS couldn't handle Nana/Popo's more advanced partner AI, and thus they had to be retroactively removed from the roster. RIP

Since I'm just now existing on this thread, might as well list my mains: Robin and Dedede primarily, with dabblings in Lucina, Ike, and ROB.

I'm the only one who finds Zero Suit Samus's up special completly satisfiying to pull off? And actually land a KO with it?

I don't use ZSS myself, but one of my friends does, and he consistently fails to pull it off no matter how hungry he is for the Up-B kill (which is quite hungry indeed).

I didn't fill out the survey at the time.

That's a pretty good bit of songs. I got an email a few weeks back saying mine was on its way, but I haven't seen it yet.

I'll give it a few more days, and then I'll go unsuccessfully complain to Nintendo about it.

I'm extremely hyped for Lucas, but one thing that fought me off guard was the fact that they're still keeping his old B-Moves from Brawl, even when Ness already has them as custom moves.

They could be his final and set-in-stone special moves, but I have theory that Lucas' B-moves we saw in the trailer where just placeholders until they come up with replacements. Yeah I know it sounds unlikely and his B-Moves we saw in his trailer are most likely his finalized moves.

Or those are his defaults and Lucas has alts too?

Am I the only one who doesn't enjoy fighting level 9 AI in Smash 4?

What makes you say that?

But I don't normally play with the highest level of difficulty. There's a point at which the CPU fights with perfect prediction regardless of what you do or how you change your approach. You can't "bluff" an item through or quickly fall in order to throw your opponent off.

Normally, I play at 7 or 8. I'll start with 7, and if I get too many 3-0 matches, I'll move to 8. I can probably win consistently at 9, but it would be too frustrating for me to actually enjoy.

Shantae, pls

How do you feel about customization for Evo and the sets they have planned?

I'm neutral about the whole situation, not to excited, but not disappointed. Kinda disagree with the sets they currently have, but since I'm not going to Evo then I'm ok with it.

To be honest, I'm glad Mewtwo is back. Playing with him on Poke Floats in Melee was the best, and I am grateful that Nintendo had him return.

On the downside, we still have these characters that were excluded (save for Lucas).

But hopefully the ballot will change that. I've cast my vote and now hope for the best/am ready for the worst. So far we have two returning Meleers and I hope that increases when they add Pichu and Roy, if and when they do.

So, I registered my Wii U and 3DS copies to Club Nintendo, so I got Mewtwo early.

I think he's good, but a bit too slow for me.

There’s a rumor floating around about Roy and Ryu sound files being found.

Interesting. I'm skeptical though, Roy and Lucas's themes are a bit easy to nab, and the fact Ryu's victory theme seems ripped from Street Fighter 2 rather than being remixed bugs me. If multiple sources cited it though I'll be willing to accept it.

But it would be hilarious if Sakurai was intentionally throwing shit into the game's files just to screw with us.

After messing around with Mewtwo a bit, I don't think I'll be maining him any time soon. The blind spots on some of his tail swipe moves make chasing my opponent down more frustrating than it should be.

dat f-air tho, unf

Dunno how I feel about this.

I'm not really excited about Ryu as a fan, but I do get it:

Capcom just capped off Mega Man in Smash, so perhaps Capcom sees some benefit in promoting its properties on Nintendo consoles.

Street Fighter V is coming out, and it seems as if Xbox isn't getting it. Given that it's not an exclusive, as both PC and PS4 are getting it, does this mean the perceived partnership has room for a Wii U release?

And let's be clear: Ryu is a video game icon, and he's got plenty of options for a legitimate moveset. If Capcom can get Mega Man in, then it makes sense that Ryu could be in. He'd fight well although it's something of an odd fit. You can't trust leaks anymore, but there's no harm in giving them some consideration.

As for Roy:

Roy's our boy.

He will always be our boy.

SPOILER, NEW STUFF

The leaker found in the files a Zero swordsman suit, Megaman.EXE gunner, isabella gunner and virtua fighter…fighter suits in the files

Fucking hype for both zero and EXE and scared of isabella suit, she looks like she got skinned

also have a ryu pic

Question: Is anybody already done with this leaks, i mean, they are killing the surprise factor in Smash and great part of the people wants to see the Directs and the E3 with that feel of emotion.
Now with this leaks is more like: "Meh, yeah Roy and Ryu is in the game…"
In thoses days is really hard keep secrets about future DLC or content in any videogame and sites like Gamexplain (And i know that 4chan and 8chan too) for example (The goddamn thumbnail), now the emotion of the Smash presentation of tomorrow is ruined thanks of this (again, just like when the whole roster was announced)
That's it, i want surprises no leaks, they kill the hype and transform a nice surprise of Sakurai in a Shitstorm discussing about the characters.
