AI Bible Influencer Videos is a category of AI Bible Stories that use artificial intelligence to generate videos of characters from the Christian Bible vlogging and taking selfie videos, often during notable Biblical events. AI Bible stories were popularized by The AI Bible social media pages, which started posting in 2023 and boast millions of followers across YouTube, Instagram and TikTok as of mid-2025. In late May 2025, other accounts began posting their own versions of the AI videos, including TikToker @holyvlogsz, causing the "If Bible Characters Had iPhones" trend to go viral across social media.
Origin
The earliest known, notable account to post AI-generated Bible content is The AI Bible, which posted their first set of images to Instagram[1] (@theaibibleofficial) on February 12th, 2023, posting their first video a day later to the @theaibibleofficial TikTok[2] page, which is a compilation of the images. The video shows the results of putting Bible verses into an AI art generator.
Their videos started to garner significant popularity over the next few months. On December 23rd, 2023, they posted a video to TikTok[3] consisting of AI-generated content depicting angels, garnering over 33 million views in around two years and becoming their most viewed video.

Over time, the channel's videos became more elaborate. On July 18th, 2024, they uploaded their first video to The AI Bible YouTube[4] channel, which retells the creation story using AI, garnering over 115,000 views in a year.
On February 26th, 2025, a video titled "What if The Bible had a movie trailer…?" was uploaded to the YouTube[5] channel, garnering over 1.7 million views in four months.
On April 24th, the page started uploading videos that imagine if Bible characters had iPhones during biblical events. The first video, about Noah, was posted across their social media accounts, including to TikTok,[5] that day, garnering over 1.3 million views in two months.

On May 12th, 2025, the TikTok[6] page uploaded a video of John with an iPhone, garnering over 1.4 million views in a month.

In late May 2025, the AI Bible influencers trend started to spread online as they garnered further attention.
For example, on May 31st, 2025, TikToker[7] @holyvlogsz posted their first set of AI Bible influencer videos, with their video of Daniel in the lion's den garnering over 6.1 million views in three days.
That same day, X[8] user @PJaccetturo reposted the video, offering some advice on prompts to use to create similar videos, garnering over 5,600 likes in the same span of time.

On June 1st, X[9] user @Grummz shared the Daniel video, writing, "It’s getting hilarious… and way too entertaining. Humanity’s greatest challenge will be to not be locked into a loop, endlessly consuming AI content tailored to us," garnering over 1,900 likes in two days.
On June 2nd, 2025, TikToker[10] @pjacefilms posted a video compiling several examples of the trend that he created using Google Veo 3, garnering over 1.6 million views in a day. He also posted the video to X,[11] garnering over 2,500 likes in the same span of time.

Later that day, X[12] user @BehizyTweets reposted another video by X[13] user @PJaccetturo of the trend, writing, "People are now using AI to depict Biblical stories. Satan didn't have this on his bingo cards," garnering over 25,000 likes in a day.
Also on June 2nd, X[14] user and YouTuber Wendigoon (@Wendigoon8) posted a Cereal Guy meme about the trend, garnering over 19,000 likes in a day.
