ATTENTION CITIZEN! 市民请注意! This is the Central Intelligentsia of the Chinese Communist Party refers to a copypasta based on the China's Social Credit System meme, which warns the reader that they attracted the attention of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) with their online activity and will be sent to a reeducation camp and have their social credit score reduced. The copypasta has been used circulated since 2021, used as a reply to users mentioning censored topics in China, such as the independence of Taiwan and the Xi Jinping Winnie-the-Pooh meme, and is similar to the Tiananmen Square copypasta.
Origin
While the exact origin of the copypasta is currently unknown, it likely was first used on a Discord server in August 2021. On August 31st, 2021, Redditor Tr0bra made the earliest post containing the copypasta. In this version (shown below), the "warning" is issued over one's offspring playing video games past the gaming time limit. The post garnered over 40 upvotes in the /r/copypasta[1] subreddit in three years.
On October 13th, 2021, Redditor ryuzaki003 posted the most popular version of the copypasta to the /r/copypsta[2] subreddit in which the reasoning was altered to "your internet activity has attracted our attention." Additionally, an ASCII art of Chinese President Xi Jinping was added (shown below).

In the following years, the copypasta saw use on Reddit, Discord, YouTube and other social media platforms. Notably, in October 2021, the copypasta was set as an automatic AutoModerator bot response in the /r/shitposting subreddit, with the bot replying to posts and comments mentioning China-related topics such as Taiwan with the copypasta (example[3] shown below).
The copypasta has frequently been used on social media under posts that mention topics that are censored or considered sensitive in China. For example, on March 21st, 2024, YouTuber[4] Brendan Kavanagh reported being spammed with the copypasta after making pro-Taiwan and anti-CCP statements on his channel (shown below).

Tiananmen Square Copypasta refers to a copypasta mentioning Tiananmen Square protests of 1989, free Tibet, Winnie the Pooh and other subjects censored by the Chinese government. When posted in in-game chat in multiplayer games, the copypasta allegedly results in Chinese players being kicked from the server due to the Great Firewall of China automatically interrupting their internet connection.
