About
Built Like A Mexican is a participatory photo trend and series of memes that gained traction on X / Twitter in December 2024. After X user @kaee_1 made a post criticizing someone for not dressing for their body, saying that they were "built like a Mexican," several Latina and Mexican women on the platform posted photos of their own curvaceous bodies with the same caption. The trend inspired memes and reactions on X, primarily from people comparing the phrase to I Know It Smell Crazy In There, and from men who found it amusing that women would jump to correct someone's negative opinion of them by posting attractive photos of themselves.
