Cheating AI Fruit is an AI video trend in which artificial intelligence is used to generate videos about anthropomorphic fruit people cheating on their spouses. The trend began on February 28th, 2026, when TikToker @trombonechef posted the first part in a series of videos about a strawberry woman who cheats on her husband with her eggplant boss. The trend became increasingly popularized throughout March 2026, inspiring similar videos and videos reacting to the memes.

On February 28th, 2026, TikToker[1] @trombonechef posted an AI-generated video about a strawberry woman who cheats on her strawberry husband with her boss, an eggplant. When she goes out to cheat, she claims she's working late. The eggplant gets her pregnant. When the baby is delivered, the strawberry husband notices that the baby is an eggplant and discovers that his wife cheated with her boss. The video gained over 2.9 million views in two weeks.

The TikToker[2] continued posting videos following the same plot line between late February 2026 and mid-March.

The second part, uploaded on March 1st, 2026, garnered over 24 million views in two weeks. In the video, the strawberry man decides to leave his wife after finding an orange woman to have an affair with. He marries the orange woman within two days, then returns home and kicks out his strawberry wife and eggplant baby, leaving them homeless.

On March 2nd, the TikToker[3] uploaded the third part of the series, gaining over 4.9 million views in two weeks. In the video, the strawberry man and his orange wife grow closer and plan to have a baby. The strawberry woman asks the boss, her baby's dad, to help out, but he won't. Strawberry woman dedicates her life to hard work to keep her baby fed and buys a gun.

The series continued over the next few weeks, reaching its 12th entry in mid-March 2026.
