On April 11th, 2024, episode 12 "Conan O'Brien Needs a Doctor While Eating Spicy Wings" of the YouTube^[1] talk show series Hot Ones premiered. The episode (shown below), which featured comedian and late-night show host Conan O'Brien as a guest, garnered over 2.3 million views in one day.

In the episode, Conan O'Brien did several bits, most notably pretending to be unaffected by the spiciness and pouring large quantities of sauce over his chicken wings and even licking hot sauces from his hands and drinking them directly from the bottle.

Starting on the same day, April 11th, 2024, clips from the episode received viral spread online as users commended Conan on his comedy, with some users ranking the Hot Ones episode as the "best ever."

For example, on April 11th, X^[2] user @isxrel posted a clip of Conan pouring sauce over a chicken wing and eating it, and then taking a sip from the bottle of the hot sauce, all while mocking the show's crew over being concerned for Conan. The video (shown below) received over 1,100 reposts and 18,000 likes in one day.
