On October 9th, 2013, YouTuber^[1] Max Forrest posted a video titled "Redlight" that gained over 1.9 million views in 13 years. The video is a comedy skit where a man stops at a red light, and another man who stops beside him starts pleasuring himself while staring into his car. The man tells him to stop, but he won't. He drives off, but the masturbator somehow appears in the backseat of the car.

On March 4th, 2026, TikToker^[2] @ultronsfeet67 posted an edit of the video in which the word "Mentality" is captioned at the top and the word "discipline" is captioned on the bottom, garnering over 2 million views in about two weeks.

On March 31st, 2026, TikToker^[3] @jedel_1 posted a video that recreates the meme with Minecraft characters, garnering over 798,000 views in three weeks.

On April 6th, TikToker^[4] @xxx250254 posted an edit of the clip similar to the original edit that gained over 4.5 million views in two weeks.

On April 8th, TikToker^[5] @x425267x posted a video recreating the original meme on a subway, garnering over 370,000 views in two weeks.

On April 15th, 2026, TikToker^[6] @yogh4rt_rebooted posted a version of the meme that recreates it with the Geometry Dash difficulty faces, garnering over 1.2 million views in six days.
