Morgan Bailey and Random Man From Atlanta TikTok Drama

Overview

The Morgan Bailey and Random Man From Atlanta TikTok Drama, also known as Morgan Bailey vs. Jaquan Sanks, refers to an online squabble between 23-year-old TikToker Morgan Bailey (@morganbaiiley) and her "baby daddy" Jaquan Sanks (aka Random Man From Atlanta or @hometownhere1995_) who left her and her baby daughter soon after she was born. Across a series of viral TikTok videos posted in August 2023, Bailey ranted about Sanks and his "six kids." She nicknamed him the "random man from Atlanta." Eventually, the news spread as many of his other six baby mamas came forward, going viral for similar TikTok videos in August. All of the buzz, which eventually spread to viral posts on Twitter / X, prompted a response from Sanks, resulting in more backlash against him. Alternatively, many people questioned Bailey's decision-making. In April 2024, the controversy resurfaced when the Random Man From Atlanta leaked an explicit photo of Morgan Bailey during a TikTok LIVE.

Background

Starting in June 2023, TikToker^[1][2] @morganbaiiley started posting videos that hinted about the father of her baby who purportedly left her 30 days after her daughter was born.

On July 22nd, 2023, @morganbaiiley posted a "story time" TikTok^[3] that clearly outlined her history, stating, among many things, that her baby daddy was from Atlanta and had six kids across multiple women. The video gained roughly 1.6 million plays and 136,800 likes in one month (shown below, left). On July 25th, she posted a TikTok^[4] in which she said, "this kid is from a random man in Atlanta." It received roughly 5 million plays and 693,600 likes in one month (shown below, right).

In the comment section of the aforementioned TikTok,^[4] @morganbaiiley's "random man in Atlanta" quote seemingly resonated with others. In turn, she started calling him the "random man from Atlanta" in many videos, using the hashtag #randommaninatlanta. For instance, in a July 26th TikTok,^[5] she responded to a comment about the "six kids" claim (shown below, left). In a July 27th TikTok,^[6] she alleged that he had six baby mamas (shown below, right).

Developments

Random Man From Atlanta Response Video

Sometime before August 22nd, 2023, the Random Man From Atlanta posted a video to TikTok on an account called @hometownhero1995_ (since deleted) in which he addressed the controversy. Although he later deleted his account, X^[7] user @MrsJellySantos posted the video along with a screenshot of @morganbaiiley, gaining roughly 21,600 likes in three days (shown below).

Many of @hometownhero1995_'s videos have since been reposted by the TikTok^[8] account @randommanfromatlanta.

Online Reaction

Various TikTokers^[12][13] posted viral stitches and duets with @hometownhero1995_'s response video. Other reactions surfaced on X, such as a reply sent by X^[14] user @MrsJellySantos on August 22nd, in which she said, "How she even fuck him? I’m not saying he’s ugly. He just got ashy man written all over him…" gaining roughly 16,100 likes in three days (shown below, left). X^[15] user @yahdera compared the random man to Bubble Bass on August 22nd, gaining roughly 1,500 likes in three days (shown below, right).

More Baby Mamas Speak Out

After his response videos, women on TikTok started to post videos, alleging that they were his other baby mamas. The first known baby mama to speak out was a TikToker named @allisonmartorell1 who later deleted her video which posted sometime before August 23rd, 2023, (repost from TikTok^[9] shown below, left). On August 24th, 2023, TikToker^[10] @dreaa_janaee posted a video, alleging that she was "baby mama number one," gaining roughly 569,000 plays and 66,400 likes in one day (shown below, right)

Later on August 24th, 2023, TikToker^[11] @justherefortheteaa posted a video, stating she was the third baby mama, gaining roughly 240,700 plays and 13,900 likes in one day.

Random Man From Atlanta Revenge Corn Controversy / Morgan Bailey Leak

On April 17th, 2024, Sanks went LIVE on TikTok and, at one point, he started saying, "It's cool when they do it. It's a problem when I do it." He then showed screenshots of a video with Morgan Bailey nude. His account was later banned.

On April 18th, 2024, Bailey posted a video to her TikTok^[16] account, explaining what happened and condemning Sanks. In a day, the video received over 2.1 million plays and 145,000 likes (shown below).
