The game was published to Kongregate by funnychasegames, also known as 123Chase, on December 3rd, 2013, and is set to a 2005 remix of the Usher, Lil Jon and Ludacris song "Yeah!" known as "Usher Scooby Doo Party Break."
The game went viral in late April and early May 2026 after a video of streamer RatBagTrash playing it and calling it a "hidden gem" went viral on TikTok and Instagram Reels, inspiring memes about the game and song on sites like TikTok and X / Twitter.
History
On December 3rd, 2013, funnychasegames released the browser-based game Scooby Doo Creepy Run on Kongregate.[1] The game's description reads, "Help shaggy to escape from graveyard by avoiding the obstacles on the way. Beware of chasing ghost." The game is played by holding right on the keyboard to run, holding left to stop, jumping with up and ducking with down. As players run, they must avoid obstacles and run from a skeleton.
