The VTuber Deme Sex On Stream Controversy or Deme Chibi VTuber Drama refers to backlash towards VTuber Deme for allegedly having sex with her boyfriend or another man while streaming the video game Outer Wilds shortly after requesting that fans not draw NSFW artwork of her avatar, which some saw as hypocritical.

The stream, titled "deme plays Outer Wilds #2," took place on August 10th, 2025, and resurfaced on X / Twitter in June 2026 after YouTuber Chibi Reviews called Deme a hypocrite after she requested that fans and artists not make NSFW fan art of her avatar, despite having reposted lewd artwork of her avatar the day she made the request. Deme responded by making fun of Chibi Reviews for being cheated on, resulting in someone backing up Chibi's "hypocrite" claims by posting the video of her allegedly having sex on stream.

Deme later defended her stance in a post, clarifying that she doesn't want people drawing her avatar having sex, but that she's always been fine with lewd art. She also denied having sex on stream, with some defenders claiming her boyfriend was streaming at the same time. Some shared the belief that she was having sex with another man during the stream and that she was cucking her boyfriend, although this is again an unconfirmed allegation.

On June 17th, 2026, Deme posted an apology to Chibi Reviews, expressing regret for using the memory of the cheating incident against him, as the incident previously, purportedly, made Chibi feel suicidal.

On August 18th, 2025, a VOD of VTuber Deme playing Outer Wilds was posted to the deme plays YouTube^[1] channel, gaining over 420,000 views in a year. At about the 1:17:30 timestamp, it is alleged that Deme is having sex with her boyfriend during the stream, although Deme has denied this claim.

In the clip, those who believe she had sex claim you can hear "slapping" noises, that the way she's speaking seems distracted, and the way her avatar is moving and "bouncing" is suspicious.

Chibi Reviews Argument / Sex On Stream Allegations

On June 12th, 2026, VTuber Deme reposted a piece of fan art by X^[2] / Twitter user @Meme_Aestheticc, posted that day, that shows her with exaggerated physical features, garnering over 44,000 likes in four days.

Later that day, Deme made a now-deleted post on X^[3] reading, "hey just a reminder, I’m extremely uncomfortable with NSFW art of me," gaining over 12,000 likes before it was removed.

On June 13th, 2026, YouTuber ChibiReviews made a post on X^[4] quoting the now-deleted tweet. ChibiReviews shares a screenshot of Deme reposting the "lewd" artwork of her avatar by @Meme_Aestheticc, writing, "This level of virtue signaling has stun-locked me. Look at the repost," gaining over 11,000 likes in three days.

That day, Deme responded to the post,^[5] writing, "wait omg aren’t you the guy who’s fiancé literally cheated on you and your whole friend group sided with her? LMFAO," referencing Chibi getting cheated on by his fiancé, garnering over 29,000 likes in the same span of time.

Later on June 13th, 2026, X^[6] user @Parrot4chan called Deme out for making fun of Chibi, explaining Chibi's situation as a form of abuse, as they understand it, and sharing a post where Deme shares her own story of abuse, gaining over 26,000 likes in three days and further calling Deme a hypocrite.

Shortly after, X^[7] user @DenTekUser posted a video from the August 2025 Outer Wilds stream, writing, "Big talk from someone who got railed on stream. Afraid of NSFW my ass," tagging both Deme and Chibi, garnering over 41,000 likes and 8 million views in three days.

Deme's Statements

On June 13th, 2026, as the Chibi Reviews backlash went on, Deme made a post on X^[8] explaining her stance on lewd art and doubling down on her statement towards Chibi Reviews. She claims being a "bitch" is nothing new, and she has no respect for Chibi.

She writes about her purportedly abusive ex, "we practically moved on from it too. if you actually watch my streams, he’s on it all the time. and we’re happy af just taking a break from streaming in japan. I’ve never hid that whatsoever." She also asserts that she still doesn't like art of her having sex, but accepts lewd art.

On June 16th, Deme made a post on X^[9] denying the rumors of having sex on stream, writing, "if I was crazy enough to fuck on stream I’d at least have an onlyfans to bait engagement 💀 stop forcing your cuck fantasies on others 🤷‍♀️ my ass too fat to move that lil," garnering over 9,200 likes in under a day.

On June 17th, 2026 Deme made a post on X^[13] reflecting on her initial response to Chibi Reviews and apologizing for bringing up the cheating. She acknowledges that the cheating incident made Chibi suicidal and that she shouldn't have used it against him.

As the controversy spread in mid-June 2026, Deme received backlash online from some, who perceived her as being a hypocrite regarding NSFW art while reposting lewd art and allegedly having sex on stream. Others defended Deme for standing up for herself and having boundaries regarding how she wants fans to interact with her.

On June 15th, 2026, VTuber^[10] Rima Evenstar streamed on YouTube and, at the 1:29:35 mark, purportedly showed footage of Deme's boyfriend gaming at the same time as Deme.

In the clip, screaming can be heard in the background as her boyfriend goes, "La, la, la," and plays Counter-Strike. Some believe that the screaming noises are evidence of Deme having sex not with her boyfriend, but with another man, essentially cucking him.

That day, X^[11] user @wangovt made a post defending Deme, sharing artwork and writing, "If having boundaries and being based was illegal demenishki would be in jail #demeart #wip," gaining over 2,200 likes in a day.

On June 16th, 2026, X^[12] user @Manager_JoJo made a post defending Deme and refuting the claim that she was having sex on stream with a video edit that looks to disprove the theories that you can hear them having sex in her boyfriend's stream clips.
