About
Every Country's Miku refers to a series of fan art that imagines vocaloid character Hatsune Miku as a native of various countries and places, with Miku usually dressed in national clothing and holding various objects associated with the country's culture. Spawned by the Brazilian Miku meme, the fan art trend achieved virality on X / Twitter in late August 2024.

Argentinian Miku
Interestingly, the depiction of Hatsune Miku as an Argentinian woman predates the first Brazilian Miku fanart by a few days, as a TikTok video[6], compiling several Argentinian Miku drawings, was posted by tinatrash on June 21st, 2024. Once the Brazilian Miku meme, and the Every Country's Miku meme in its path, truly became viral online, Argentina was the first (see Origin) and one of the most represented nationalities in Hatsune Miku fanarts in that timeframe, besides Brazil. This is likely due to the nationalistic feud between the two countries, attribuable in great part to their historical rivalry in competitive soccer. As such, the Brazilian and Argentinian versions of Miku tend to be rivals when they appear together in a fanart, although they also got shipped together fairly often.
