About
Everyone Beats Homelander or Weak Homelander refers to a series of social media posts and a viral debate that describes how fictional characters, not necessarily powerful per se, will definitely defeat The Boys supervillain Homelander should they be in a fight. Ignited by a fan art depiction of Homelander fighting off the entire Justice League on his own, the meme gained virality on Twitter in early September 2022.
Origin
On March 18th, 2021, artist Connor MacGregor posted a fan art illustration of supervillain Homelander from the television and comic series The Boys fighting off the superhero team Justice League on his own. The fan art (shown below) received over 1,700 likes on Instagram[1] in one year.
On September 5th, 2022, Twitter[2] user @directorsmiso tweeted the fan art, commenting, "Lmao this is insane 💀." The tweet received over 1,700 retweets, 1,700 quote tweets and 20,200 likes in three days (shown below, left). Later that day, Twitter[3][4] users @MaceAhWinduand @THELIFE0FTRIBE quote tweeted the post, expressing doubt that Homelander would be able to oppose Superman, let alone the entire Justice League. The tweets gained over 20 retweets and 1,200 likes and 600 retweets and 9,700 likes, respectively (shown below, center and right).

Homelander vs. Sportacus refers to a viral October 2024 debate surrounding the imagined matchup between The Boys character Homelander and Lazy Town character Sportacus in which the characters were powerscaled against each other. The majority of memes and posts related to the debate continued the earlier Everyone Beats Homelander meme by imagining Sportacus easily beating Homelander in a fight, especially if he had an apple beforehand.
