The exploited variations of the image included a moving GIF version, a skinny version and the original, unedited photo of Carpenter, seen in a blue dress on The Tonight Show, which was also used in viral tweets and memes as a humorous reversal of the "fat" version's use.

On October 5th, 2025, X^[1] user @miz_irritating tweeted a low-quality AI-edited image of Sabrina Carpenter showing her as obese. The base image was a photo of Carpenter on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on August 22nd, 2024.^[2][3] The tweet's caption read, "Cottage cheese & cookie dough protein bar is now," and it received over 280 likes in five days. It is currently the first discovered post with a version of the Fat Sabrina Carpenter image.

Later on October 5th, 2025, X^[4] user @perfectllover tweeted the low-quality Fat Sabrina Carpenter image, captioning it, "Ate entire sub after I said I was going to save half for tomorrow." Over five days, the post gained over 122,000 likes.

On October 6th, X^[5] user @dancingofpens quote-tweeted the abovementioned post, writing, "Remember when I talked about fatphobia coming back?" Over four days, the quote-tweet received over 149,000 likes.

On October 7th, 2025, X^[6] user @blmother replied to @miz_irritating with an HD version of the Fat Sabrina Carpenter image. The reply is currently the first known upload of the image. It received nine likes in three days.

Later on that same day, X^[7] user @miz_irritating used it in a tweet, gaining over 130 likes in three days.

On October 8th, X^[8] user @oomfpit tweeted a warped and distorted version of the HD image, supposed to represent a skinny Sabrina Carpenter. It was paired with the caption, "Salad for lunch," and it received over 34,000 likes in two days.

On October 9th, 2025, X^[9] user @Stardusth2o quote-tweeted @oomfpit, writing, "CRYING at this being a skinny edit of the fat edit instead of just the original picture," gaining over 178,000 likes in two days.

Also on October 9th, X^[10] user @vigilantesht tweeted the original, unedited image of Sabrina Carpenter in a blue dress on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, captioning it, "Just ate a salad." The tweet gained over 3,700 likes in a day.

On October 8th, 2025, X^[11] user @FLOBRINANATION tweeted an AI video that animated the Fat Sabrina Carpenter image, showing Carpenter turning to smile at a person next to her and then turning the other way to laugh. Over two days, the post received over 230 likes.
