Sabrina Carpenter's Met Gala Outfit, also known as Sabrina Carpenter's "Ringmaster" Outfit, refers to photographs of singer-songwriter Sabrina Carpenter wearing a custom pantless Louis Vuitton outfit at the 2025 Met Gala. The photographs inspired jokes comparing the outfit to those worn by various fictional characters and edits imagining Carpenter as these characters. Several memes in which Carpenter was edited as Joker and Kasumi Yoshizawa from the Persona 5 role-playing video game went viral on social media following the event in early May 2025.
Origin
On May 5th, 2025, American singer-songwriter Sabrina Carpenter made an appearance at the 2025 Met Gala[1] wearing a custom-made pantless Louis Vuitton suit consisting of a burgundy jacket and a matching bodysuit, reminiscent of attire worn by a magician's assistant or a circus ringmaster (photograph shown below).
On May 6th and 7th, 2025, photographs of Carpenter wearing the outfit went viral online, inspiring initial memes within the artist's fanbase.
For example, on May 6th, X[2] / Twitter user @lietosink posted a meme that garnered over 560 reposts and 2,500 likes in five days (shown below).

For instance, on May 7th, X[5] user @mossxcurly posted a One Piece joke that received over 690 reposts and 10,000 likes in five days (shown below).
