Fat Scrooge McDuck, also known as Scrooge McDuck eat too many china food, Scrulge McBulge, or Hello FGTeeV, refers to a piece of fat fetish fan art of Scrooge McDuck with an overly large body. The image was originally posted online by DeviantArt user MCsaurus in December 2012 and was later turned into an edit with a clip of Scrooge McDuck saying "Hello FGTeeV!" in June 2024 that was spread online after its creation.
Origin
On December 21, 2012, DeviantArt[1] user MCsaurus posted fat fetish art of Scrooge McDuck titled "Scrooge McDuck eat too many china food" that garnered over 7.4k views before being deleted in February 2026.
Spread
On June 1, 2024, Discord[2] user kasslydel created a video that starts with a clip from an FGTeeV video[3] of Scrooge McDuck saying "Hello FGTeeV!" before a CapCut fire effect transitions into a stretched out, deep fried version of the Fat Scrooge McDuck image with multiple different transition effects applied to it whilst a saxophone cover of "Go Crazy" by Chris Brown[4] plays twice in the background. She would later upload this video to YouTube the next day, which garnered over 1.9k views. A reupload of this video[5] a month later would end up garnering over 17k views, being the most viewed instance of the video on YouTube. The video would be reposted online multiple times, mainly on Twitter, where it received a large surge in popularity in February 2026.
The phrase "Hello FGTeeV" would also commonly be used by Twitter users on posts containing the original Fat Scrooge McDuck image, a normal depiction of Scrooge McDuck, or anything relating to FGTeeV.
One June 5, 2024, Twitter[9] user @WorkshopEtherel posted an edited version of the Fat Scrooge McDuck image in which Scrooge had vored a leaked image of the monster Teeter-Tauter from the game My Singing Monsters, which at the time had not yet been officially released or revealed by the game's developers. This leak would be seen by many members of the MSM Twitter community, and was often referenced by those users after the monster had been released.
On May 5, 2026, Twitter[6] user @tungsahurxtreme posted a gif of the SpongeGar Realizes meme from the SpongeBob SquarePants episode "Ugh" but with one of the shots being replaced with an image of Fat Scrooge McDuck for a split second, with a caption saying that they sent it to someone without realizing the image of Scrooge was in it. This tweet ended up garnering over 18,000 likes in one month.
Deletion
On February 21, 2026, the original artist of the image, MCsaurus, would make a now deleted posted on DeviantArt[7] asking people to stop posting the Hello FGTeeV meme. Two days later on February 23, 2026, MCsaurus would delete the original image from DeviantArt.[8]
