About

Gamecube Intro Remixes is a video meme based upon the start up screen for the Nintendo gamecube, a game console launched by Nintendo in 2001[1]. The start up screen of the Gamecube showed a rolling block forming the Gamecube logo, as seen here.

Along with the forming of the logo, for every time the block moved, it played a note. This series of notes ended up making quite a catchy tune.

This meme is very simplistic and is therefore widespread over Youtube.[2]

All you would need to do to make a fitting video reply is to take the gamecube logo, take an overused audio source like `BOINK`, `Poot` or any other meme with audio or anything with audio, and remix it to the tune. Then you replace the rolling block with an image related to the audio source you used (easily achievable with most video editors) and your reply would be done.

Also, the intro is only 10 seconds long, and requires a lot less work then other audio remix memes, such as `RED_ZONE` and `Gourmet race`.

The first remix which sparked this meme was from CaptainFawful, called Heavycube. It used the audio clips of the Heavy character from the highly popular video game Team Fortress. However, CaptainFawful removed the video unfortunately.

Every response uses another thing(it's mostly an overused fad sound)to replace the cube with, like:

Some have even used the screen as a source of Youtube Poop
