About
Get Rotated, Idiot refers to a viral video featuring a scuba diver and a tiger shark that spawned a catchphrase and a redraw trend in the early 2020s. The video shows a diver grabbing a shark by the snout and "rotating" him in order to disarm the approaching animal. The video was turned into a meme in which the phrase "Get Rotated, Idiot" was displayed in the stylistic format of a Demotivational Poster with a black frame and serif text surrounding the frame of the diver rotating the shark. Redraws of the frame began to spread on iFunny, Tumblr and X in 2022.
