The trend was popularized on TikTok in early August 2026 and was purportedly started by TikToker @misomillion on August 6th that year. Some videos referencing the meme claim that a group of evil cats is attacking Haymaker Valley.

On August 6th, 2026, TikToker[1] @misomillion posted an AI-generated video of a dog standing on its hind legs and shadowboxing. The video features a location tag for "Haymaker Valley," a "haymaker" being a specific type of punch. The video gained over 14,700 views in a week.

The same TikToker continued to post videos of dogs throwing haymakers in Haymaker Valley over the following days, with some gaining significant viewership.
