I Have Never, Ever Been Happier is a reaction image of the Euphoria character Cassie Howard crying and screaming that she has never been happier. The image has been used as a reaction and a caption meme on social media since December 2021.
Origin
On December 20th, 2021, trailer for the season two of the American drama series Euphoria premiered.[1] In the trailer, character Cassie Howard, portrayed by actress Sydney Sweeney, is shown crying in a bathroom while exclaiming that she has never been happier (shown below, left). The scene appears in episode three "Ruminations: Big and Little Bullys" of the season, and is in fact an imaginary scenario in Sydney Sweeney's head (full scene shown below, right).[2]

On December 20th, 2021, X[3] / Twitter account out of context euphoria (@ooceuphoria) posted an image macro based on the scene, with the post garnering over 6,100 reposts and 39,000 likes in two years (shown below).

On December 21st, 2021, X[4] / Twitter user @dorksofprey posted the earliest found caption meme based on the macro, a WandaVision meme that accumulated over 4,100 reposts and 44,000 likes in two years (shown below).
The image achieved popularity in the following months as users posted more caption memes based on it. On January 9th, 2022, X[5] user @ajanibd posted a meme that received over 3,100 reposts and 27,000 likes in two years (shown below, left). On February 4th, 2022, X[6] user @ivancedric_a posted a meme that received over 760 reposts and 10,000 likes in the same period (shown below, right).
On April 2nd, 2022, actress Sydney Sweeney said in an interview[7] that I Have Never, Ever Been Happier is her favorite Euphoria season two meme.
