About
I'm In 1.3 Seconds, also known simply as the I'm In Meme, refers to a reaction image, GIF and exploitable meme derived from the earlier YouTube thumbnail meme I'm Out! 1.3 Seconds that depicts businessman Daymond John from the reality TV show Shark Tank. The format acts as an inversion of the original joke, replacing Daymond John's immediate rejection with enthusiastic approval and editing a smile onto his face.
The meme gained usage in late 2025 and 2026, primarily in TikTok comment sections as a sticker to show approval of something. As it spread, many variations replacing Daymond John in the original with other characters or people emerged, typically keeping the same text with the green arrow.
Origin
The meme is derived from the earlier "I'm Out! 1.3 Seconds" reaction image, based on a thumbnail from a 2021 YouTube upload titled "FASTEST 'I’M OUT' Pitches On Shark Tank" posted by the channel The Filmy (since deleted).
In early 2024, the thumbnail image of Shark Tank investor Daymond John captioned "I'm out! 1.3 Seconds" became a reaction image on Reddit and Twitter / X, where it was used to express disapproval.
It's unknown when exactly the inverse version of the meme, changing the text to "I'm In" with a green arrow and adding a smile to John, first appeared, but it likely originated in TikTok comment sections in late 2025. The edited image spread primarily through TikTok comment sections.
The earliest known upload comes from a November 22nd, 2025, thread on the /r/TheMatpatEffect[1] subreddit, in which Redditor SuperbAfternoon7427 requested edited versions of the original meme and Redditor Extra_Fall_8474 replied with three variants on the 25th, including the "I'm Out" and "I'm Unsure" edits.
Spread
The I'm In 1.3 Seconds meme continued to spread online in late 2025 and 2026 as it saw further usage and exploitable edits swapping out Daymond John appeared.
The I'm In GIF was notably added to Tenor[2] by user BNAMBRAM on December 1st, 2025, allowing further use and spread of the reaction meme.
On May 19th, 2026, Giphy[3] user gjsan.jpg uploaded a version redrawing the original meme that added the character Battle Beast from the Invincible comics and animated series, garnering over 1.2 million views in a week.
