About
Just Making Sure I Don't Fit In, also known as Just Rubben and Rubben on My Yellow Leg, refers to an exploitable meme and reaction image that shows an orange or yellow male figure looking across a line of white figures representing that he doesn't fit in akin to the concept of Sheeple. The image has a top and bottom Impact caption that reads the catchphrase. In 2023, the image was shared en masse on social media sites like Twitter / X and Instagram as a way to humorously differentiate one's opinion or taste from the masses. A notable re-edit of the meme read, "Just Rubben and Rubben on My Yellow Leg," designed to be nonsensical and ironic. The meme led to a series of increasingly avant-garde exploitable usage.
