Green, strong and obese humanoid, Muscle Man works as a groundskeeper at the Park and is best friends with Hi Five Ghost. Muscle Man is fond of "my mom" jokes, his own version "yo mama" jokes, which is a running gag in the series. In mid-2021, the character saw a surge in popularity online, with "my mom" joke structure serving as basis for various memes, including voice acted memes.

Origin

On September 13th, 2010, episode "Just Set Up the Chairs" of the animated series Regular Show premiered. In the episode, character Muscle Man is introduced.

A green, obese humanoid, Muscle Man is 25 year old in the first season of the series and works as a groundskeeper at the Park. He is best friends with Hi Five Ghost, with whom he usually works in pair. Muscle Man regularly tells "my mom" jokes, his own, inoffensive version of "yo mama" jokes. In "Just Set Up the Chairs," the first "my mom" joke is told by Muscle Man (compilation video shown below).
