Oops I Dropped My Wallet refers to a webcomic drawn by Twitter artist @bedpup that became a redraw template in October of 2024.

Origin

On October 5th, 2024, Twitter / X^[1] user @bedpup uploaded a webcomic in which a character drops their wallet and while trying to find it, another character finds it. The two stare at each other as if they're falling in love, but the second character runs away with the wallet. The post received over 23,000 reposts and 195,000 likes in one week (shown below).

In the days following @bedpup's post, the webcomic became a popular redraw template. For example on October 6th, 2024, Twitter / X^[2] user @koafreedraw uploaded Vocaloid Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto fan art based on @bedpup's webcomic. The post received over 4,900 reposts and 38,000 likes in four days (shown below).

On October 8th, 2024, Twitter / X^[3] user @stellalights uploaded Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney fan art and received more than 8,800 reposts and 56,000 likes in two days (shown below).
